Why don’t you use a metronome to edit vocals
ОтветитьWho needs VocAlign? Not this guy, lol.
ОтветитьBest thumbnail on a video ever I needed a laugh this morning
ОтветитьIs the problem in my Logic
ОтветитьIm editing but the track is moving to different place
ОтветитьThis is a great tutorial! However, part of my old-school brain is thinking, “It’s too much!” I like human imperfections. A feel of something less robotic and more alive? It’s like photoshopping a picture for the cover of a magazine to just taking a cool, raw photo of someone. But I do admire the craftsmanship and expertise.
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьOh, I have a question: so I noticed you didn't merge your comps into a single super take....did you later? I was told to merge but maybe that's not necessary???....thanks.
ОтветитьYou made this look SOOOO EASY, super easy! Encouraging to see that I too can be like you one day!!! thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience with the world!
ОтветитьThank you!!!
ОтветитьThat’s was still too complicated
ОтветитьGood video but always show the polished end video so we have a since of where you’re taking us. I am sure your finished product is better than what you had at the end of this video
Ответитьthanx for this tutorial!!!! <3 <3 <3
ОтветитьYou have such great ears! I have been searching for a video like this! Thank you so much!
Ответитьhow is that adio disolving wts a shortcut plz tell me
Ответитьi love your videos! thanks man! ... just one question .. why don't you use flex time instead? wouldn't it be easier ?
ОтветитьNice vocals!
ОтветитьWats up my bro how do you get your mic volume up n logic also how do you put effect in the microphone
ОтветитьDid you ever release this song? I wanna hear it I love the vocals! :)
ОтветитьNathan, I'm a relatively new producer, and I have been absolutely binging your videos to help me learn. Your channel is amazing, and I suspect I will continue to come back to it for years to come. Thank you
Ответить👍🎸🎼
ОтветитьWhoa, the top half of dragging a track is loop tool and the bottom half is to adjust the trim
ОтветитьThanks Nathan!
Ответитьgeesh, Doc you are good and proficient at this. I need to play this in slow motion. Amazing what can be done in Logic. Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьI don't get how you do the cross fade. I see you have pointer and two scissors in the control panel. How do you get the fade? Is it a shortcut?
Ответитьplease make it without plugin for logic pro vocal
ОтветитьIs there a particular hierarchy of steps that are better to use than others? What can go wrong if you do things in a particularly wrong order?
ОтветитьGreat video! Super helpful! I have a question about what seems to be a glitch in the software. When I go to try to edit certain audio files, it says "Audio file cannot be changed. Volume or file is locked." Any idea how to solve this problem? Thanks!
ОтветитьYou’re contributing to the world in a fantastic way. Thanks for the effort. Very helpful.
ОтветитьUnfknbelievable,....I was perfectly editing my vocals using Flexpitch and for some god awful reason decided to watch your videos and follow your instructions. And now my vocals for some reason just wouldn't play.... they are right there, everything is there but during play back they are completely muted. Ugh! Thanks man.... at least you can update your info to reflect the latest Logic update so people are not going about pressing the wrong keys and screwing up their projects.
ОтветитьYou had me at "jump right in", instead of "Let me tell you about my old band and what we sounded like.."
Ответитьhey there James! I've been searching how to move parts of takes and couldn't find it anywhere - active comp is a good idea. But after exporting as an active comp I got a lot of clicks between takes which were not there at all in the original comping version. I managed to fix that somehow, was very time consuming...
But even worse, I got weird clicks and crackling in the vocals and breaths became very robotic and artificial although there are no crossfades on those parts. I'm stuck again. I spent a lot of time adjusting the tempo, pitching (not finished) and will probably have to start all over again... Any idea what to do? Thanks!
The Producer for my music changes the color of the waveform to reflect his progress on edits (he uses protools, but logic can do similar things.
"A screen full of green means the edits are clean!"
Power to you man, it's great to see that I'm not overthinking things/ to see how other people edit their vocals and this was super helpful! Thank you~~
ОтветитьHello! Thank you so much for this video. I have a question and I can’t find answer anywhere: my home studio is very small, I’m using 2020 MacBook Pro and Logic Pro and when I record vocals, my mic picks up fan noise form my laptop no matter what I do. I have a filter and I even got a mic shield but after a few mins of audio recording my laptop’s noise gets too loud and it just ruins the audio quality. I tried removing noise in logic when I edit my track, but because my songs have a lot of very quiet and soft spots, it doesn’t sound good - it cuts a bit too much or not enough every time. I tried covering my laptop with a blanket but it gets too hot under it so I’m not sure it’s safe… maybe you’ll have a tip? Thank you so much, I’m almost desperate lol
ОтветитьWhat the name of the song. That sounds fabulous.
ОтветитьJust bought Logic and this tutorial taught me so much. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьStop using so many tracks for one part. We use to do 40 tracks on 4 track and 8 track. Now people send me 200 tracks of on line on each track. Stop that crap and get your songs together.
ОтветитьWhat an intuitive video, great 👍🏻
ОтветитьStill the best video!
ОтветитьBrilliant video! Does anyone know why the cross fade only works for like one cut for me?
[Edit] I had drag set to overlap, not "X-Fade", lol. Logic is one the few apps where the help tab is super useful!
Thanks, learnt a lot from this. But I am left wondering, if you did the default timing clean up with, say, Frank Sinatra you would destroy his songs.
ОтветитьQuestion: I recorded my whole song,.. did the bounce,… got it saved in my “logic file” now it appears like a “ wave” but I wanna go back to it and edit it! And I can’t find it on my Logic Pro screen… my question,.. “ how can I find songs, that I’ve made,… to edit it them, add more vocals or guitars… thanks bro!
Ответитьi see you mix in stereo is that ok ?
ОтветитьThis was so helpful and easy to understand. THANK YOU!!
ОтветитьThank you Nathan i feel like i graduated my first step of production. Thanks alot
ОтветитьFor some reason I have Logic Pro but not Logic Pro X. Any tips on why it doesn’t say Logic Pro X in the top left? It also doesn’t look like this either.
