Simple, children don't drink coffee, so how good can they be in building coffee makers and accessories?

11.20 pounds (getting close to $20 USD) for a glass mug IS NOT CHEAP!!! Here in Japan where I live I get Pyrex tinted and clear glass mugs just slightly larger than that (600ml filled to the very brim) also with a spout, for $3.99 (500 yen) and the double-walled helium filled ones are $6.00. $15.00 to $20.00 for a dang cup is flipping ridiculous! What are you, rich or something?

I did buy a grinder from ali express, about £70 delivered, I have found it pretty resonable, I replaced the burrs for about £30 and the grind is really good the retention is almost zero and the adjustment is analogue. Its pretty quiet and a definite step up from my old manual grinder, oh one other thing I replaced the container (horrible plastic thing with a YETI thermal cup (metal on the inside) and get virtually zero static. I am currently saving for a ECM Classica as I think it is just beautiful. Big thank you for all your content its really amazing

Traditional turkish coffee doesnt need any of these tbh. Use cold water for maximum foam, use a dessert sppon to measure for each person, add sugar (1 cube for full sweet, half a cube for less or none at all). Keep a close eye on it it boils and spills over so so so fast, distrubute the foam with a spoon to each cup then back to the stove once we ran out of it. Boil it once again and stir before pouring it to every cup so the last person wouldnt get a mountain of coffee mush. Voila! Serve it with cold water or cold sparkling water and some kind of sweets. Can be chocolate, turkish delight. Something too sweet to lift the bitter taste of coffee. Yum.

Hey, great video! I noticed that it seems like you're using the products directly from the factory without washing (the burn-off from the turkish coffee maker, the silica gel packet in the thermos) and I just wanted to say to you or anyone reading this comment that you should definitely wash your new products -- just because they are new does not mean they are clean and they are often covered in machine oil from manufacturing (what you smelled when you turned on the coffee maker... you do not want to be breathing that. Or drinking it, for that matter)

- Foldable kettle is for traveling and a split design would also be messy in luggage. This kind of kettle cost about 20 pounds in China, shipping included.
- The megnatic mug needs more liquid inside for damping, or it'll spill things out.

I'm Chinese. The folded kettle is like 10 bucks in china😂

The mug seems like it might be really good for making tea or especially hot chocolate (* and instant coffee*) it feels more useful for making rather than a quick stir after you already brewed it

It could work well for ramen too... don't judge me ramen in a mug is the best way

When I contacted customer service, they asked for the shipment number, I gave them, and contacted the seller, because the Ali Express store is not the real seller. They did not solve my problem and the seller did not respond. Bad bad customer service and even the Ali Express app is the biggest thief. I do not advise anyone to buy from them, and they do not have any credibility. They closed my order as soon as I asked them to refund my amounts. Advice, never deal with Ali Express from experience

The first one was supposedly a turkish coffee machine. Youd get a lot more from an actual high quality turkish coffee machine. Its currently one of my favorite ways to consume coffee

Turkish coffee, generally you have a little layer of sugar at the bottom, it caramelises slightly and takes the bitter edge off the strong coffee.

I hate coffee, genuinely hate it. I can never find anything I actually like and end up having to put so much sugar and chocolate flavoring in that I might as well just eat both of them directly and skip the addition of the coffee......but I absolutely love watching your channel. Weird.

The self stirring mug has potential for hacking. Because the mechanism is the same used by the chemistry stir bars devices, perhaps is possible to add a temperature sensor to them like the Applied Science channel did

You should review some coffee scales. Coffee scales from major manufacturers are severely overpriced. Regarding the second lever machine, you could chuck the big metal peace in a pot of boiling water to heat it up. Should solve the temperature issue.

From my travels to Turkey and Jordan I've drabk a lot of turkish coffee. And they first off drink it with quite a lit of sugar, which makes a big difference. But most of all they use a spice called kardemom in the coffee. I don't know if that was already in the coffee that came with it, but I can imagine if not it could also explain why it'd taste so gross. I am looking forward to a video in the future of you learning how to make it properly because I would also be interested in that myself.
