ОтветитьThanks man for the video, it was helpful..
ОтветитьTo me, it appears that the oil inside loses its viscosity causing the piston to lose its seal. Therefore, the bellows will not cycle its full-length witch will cause a decrease in fuel pressure. This is more likely caused by the extreme heat transferred from the head onto the pump. The pump acts as a heat sink from the head and takes in all the hat transferring it onto the oil inside. My 2 cents would be to change this oil every 3o-40k miles.
ОтветитьI measured it, it's 22mm. Should I repair it, or it's good? Can I use ATF oil (automatic transmission oil)?
ОтветитьThank e for the information ,it was helpful.
ОтветитьThis is why I love the internet!!!
We all have (had) our little finds, and never cared to share… as the world goes round, we all keep inventing wheels over and over again…
Knowledge is to be shared and stored, no to be held back or kept a secret!
Thanks for sharing! Keep it up!! 👍🏼
Just to share my experience...at the tine of my comment I replsced the oil by 0w20 sintetic ( same for auto motor) ..I dived the two parts in order of close it without any such little air'bubble.
So far, 12k kilometers roared.
btw, my pump is original from 2014..
I would suspect solenoid failure first !!
ОтветитьThanks, this helped me fix the identical pump from a Citroen C4 Grand Picasso with THP155 engine. Meanwhile, the replacement pump arrived but I've done several 1000km without any problems so I left the repaired pump in the engine. It may be important to know that the problem didn't disappear on the spot, but the repaired pump needed a little breaking in before all was back to normal. Thumbs up!
ОтветитьЗдравствуйте где можно найти головку для откручивания плунжеров
ОтветитьWhat is the measurement of oil to put into the pump. Or do I fill to a certain level? Also how much lucus engine restore should I add? Thanks Leo
ОтветитьWhy don’t u tear down the solenoid and change the o rings on the fuel side? They dry out and don’t hold the proper amount of pressure. That’s where the fuel does it’s business
ОтветитьHi, you are sure that a new pump has 13mm ?? I have measured a new pump with 22mm 🤷🏼♂️ .... thanks
BR Ronnie
very good master
ОтветитьI've revived my pump from 17mm to 27mm on the diaphragm. My fuel pressure is now in the 700+psi @ idle. It idles smooth now. Not sure how long it's going to last but I'll try and provide updates when possible.
ОтветитьThis is NOT (Fuel Pump Disassembly Repair) A BUNCH OF WORTHLESS GIBBERISH!

ОтветитьHi SSA - Is this channel still active? Can you be contacted via other social media? I have a question about a damaged thermal compensator housing. TIA.
ОтветитьHi,
Does anyone tried to dive the pump into a contsiner with oil in order to guarantee no air inside the pimp before close it..
I was just wondering such method ..
Man, are these pumps worth the hassle? Is maintaining the whole car worth your time?
ОтветитьBonsoir, quel type d'huile faut-il mettre dans la pompe ??
ОтветитьI Need help? I have problem with porsche cayenne 4.8 turbo ? Full pump? Have you got video ?
ОтветитьIf any one diagnosed his car and he pounds this code P0087 most probably this one its the issue the high pressure fuel pump
ОтветитьYou can buy seal kits (recommended) for those HPF Pumps & its called transfer oil what is used in the Pump
ОтветитьDont forget to change an oil seal. If you dont do that, oil will leak into engine again.
Ответитьi cant find synthetic 80-90 oil, will mineral work?
ОтветитьCould You Show us the spring retract step plssss! I don’t understand when exactly should I retract de spring and how. Before or after the pump is closed?
ОтветитьWhats he talking..u havent go clue lad
ОтветитьOK ,tell me the best oil for the pump, specification ? i'm waiting you answer Thanks.
ОтветитьThis video also misses vital steps which prevent this happening in the future, and prevent the pump being damaged... up to people whether they think it’s worth the risk or use a professional
ОтветитьThanks...super....angel👍♥️
ОтветитьWould this be cause of no crank ons chilly morning? I recently finished up replacing clutch and it sat for a week and when I tried to start there was nothing??
ОтветитьThank you for sharing
ОтветитьCongratulations on the video ... Here in Brazil I show the various ways to recover this bomb and make it available via You tube.
It is a form of protest for the exorbitant prices of this bomb.
I noticed that you use a vacuum cleaner to help with the assembly ...... but you can't control what size it will stay in the oil suppressor ... can you?
I am currently using 75W90 synthetic oil and it is doing very well. I will also start using a synthetic screw compressor oil, which works at constant temperatures of 90 C, with excellent viscosity and which remains stable for up to 8000 hours of use.
So, if you want to exchange information you can contact us, or if you want to pass on some information I am open to receive it.
Good morning and a big hug.
