Wix Automations - A COMPLETE Guide

We have a lightbox pop up to get customers to subscribe to our emails. I want to create an automation for it to send a chat message after they submit their information. Is there a way to do it? Or should I be using a form ? I dont know how to get a form to "pop up" like a lightbox is my struggle. I appreciate any help!

Can I use the visitor automation to send a chat asking fro them to sign up for email even if I'm not on line -e.g. "thanks for looking at my site, I'm not available right now , but please sign up for updates"?
