ОтветитьDo you study in Paris?
ОтветитьChatGPT Summary: In the video, Zoe shares 5 golden habits for making language learning more effective.
The first habit she mentions is to write down your language learning routine precisely in your calendar. Zoe explains that she reviews her weekly language learning plan every Sunday evening and adjusts it according to her workload or other activities. She then puts her plan in her calendar with specific times and a list of exercises to do. She has a fixed time for learning German every day, unless she has to attend lectures or classes. She also gives an example of what her language learning routine looks like and how she spends her time during her German lessons.
The second habit Zoe shares is to take smart notes. She recommends only taking notes on the information that you think is useful for revision, rather than trying to write everything down. She also suggests using different notebooks or files for different types of notes, such as one for course notes and another for daily conversation notes. Zoe also mentions the importance of tracking your progress by writing down the date when you learn new words or expressions.
Zoe goes on to share three more golden habits for language learning: reviewing, self-practice, and targeting your weaknesses. She explains how reviewing your notes regularly can help you retain the information better, and how practicing on your own can improve your speaking and listening skills. Finally, Zoe encourages language learners to identify their weaknesses and focus on improving them.
Throughout the video, Zoe shares personal anecdotes and examples from her own language learning experience. She also provides helpful tips and resources, such as an online language school called Lingoda and a language learning challenge called the Lingoda Sprint. Overall, her video provides practical advice and inspiration for language learners of all levels.

ОтветитьNote taking videos please!!!
ОтветитьDaily review is a really useful habit for me to learn English. I would put new words and phrases from my daily reading and listening into my new vocabulary notebook, and review them every morning and evening. after a period of time, I found my language ability made comprehensive progress gradually. noticing improvement is also a critical force to push me to move forward. it is a healthy circle.
ОтветитьHey Zoé, I'm a new subscriber & since you talked about calendar I also have another tip : write your to-do's in your main focus language ;)
ОтветитьOkok, very confusing enough to me, but very comperehensif
Ответить你好Zoe.❤❤
This golden rule are useful,i really love them,i also use episodes for practicing and reviewing from time to time
非常感谢您❤❤
The self talk exercise works brilliantly for me, I’m currently learning German and I’m struggling with the Nominative Dativ and Akkusativ stuff more than anything else really so I mainly focus on that when revising but something which helps you learn new words has to be German music. I listen primarily to an artist called CRO and then translate the songs I like, works a charm.
ОтветитьHi zoe, thanks for your lovely content. I discovered you recently and I am now hooked. It feels like I've been learning English for so long and I'm kind of stuck. If I were to point out the area where I struggle most, I'd choose my passive vocabulary. What I mean is that I don't know how to activate it, how to pass from passive to active. I'm always taking notes, but then I don't know how to use it, how to review them and so on. Please, I am desperately in need with my English. Weakness: Activate passive vocabulary.
ОтветитьHey Zoe,

ОтветитьI appreciate your video and your tips, and I’m going to try some of them. But as someone with mental health problems and who easily burns themselves out, I can’t help but feel like the point of writing words you don’t know when talking in your head is stressful and situational
ОтветитьThank you Zoe, I love learning song letters
ОтветитьI stared learning different languages years ago but I gave up on most of them because I lost motivation or just got distracted but you videos really help me to gain my motivation back and they remind me to never give up with learing a language
ОтветитьHi Zoe, I also have an excel file that I use like a dictionary where I put new words with traslation in my own language an a phrase where to understand the meaning of the word in the right context, but lately i add for each word , when I find the condition, a new phrase expecially when a word has different meaning , so now this file is becoming a list of phrases, sentences , ..... moreover you have given to me a good idea , to put the file on google document so I can use it with any devices, thanks Fabio
ОтветитьIch darf dir gratulieren. Du hast ein sehr hohes Sprachniveau. Du sprichst ein besseres deutsch als viele in Deutschland geborene Menschen. Ich bin begeistert von dem Anspruch, den du an dich selbst stellst. Weiter so…
ОтветитьWhen enthusiasm rises and you giggle, you are so cute! Thank you for your video!
Ответитьأنتِ رائعة جدًا، تحياتي لكِ من مصر.
ОтветитьI love that you included talking to yourself, I used to speak to the dog in Portuguese to get used to it and it was what jumpstarted my progress!
Your channel feels like it was made for me, to be honest, and I feel so inspired to discipline myself to pick up studying my languages again! 🫶🏻
Hi Zoe, would love to know.

ОтветитьWhy are you pursuing your PhD in two European countries? Is it the culture, the institutions, or maybe a love of the languages? Good videos, by the way. Cheers.
ОтветитьThank you for your good advice.
ОтветитьThank you so much zoe❤❤
I have social phobia and I cannot speak in front of people. How can I solve this problem? 😢
I have a frustrating experience. Not knowing where to begin or hitting a plateau can feel demoralizing and make it hard to hit the books and study like you know you should…Having friends from other cultures makes me more creative. In fresh ways about space and how people create their own world and environment. It is best way to connect between creative thinking and cross-cultural relationships.
ОтветитьPink suits you sooo well😍
