How did you install those safari themes?

I wish they can have this for windows

so do you use safari, arc orion? what do you use the most

The biggest problem with other browsers is that Google is intestinally slowing down all of their websites and services if the code sees you're using anything but chrome browser

It's pretty aesthetic, but not functional. Nothing you mentioned made me wanna switch and I think the left toolbar is stupid. It's less functional than the compact view on Safari and takes up way too much space.

Just another reskinned chrome, just different in a way it does everything worse.

Mosst regular people don't like to deal with keyboard commands. They are point and clickers. Most people have memories akin to a rock and so filling up the mind with memorized keystrokes would surely give the user a stroke.

Can anyone help me to find that wallpaper? Those purples look quite aesthetic.

Sadly this is currently only for mac, they have it coming for windows but I run Linux.

I love vertical tabs, and have gotten most of the functionality of arc out of Edge, but I still kinda hate having a top bar and wish it could be like Arc where everything is in the sidebar.
Before the Firefox fans show up, yes, I have fully configured firefox to be able to do all the same stuff. It just had enough hiccups to distract and annoy me to the point that I was spending more time tweaking than working.

I like to see the url while I browse, and I switched to vertical tabs so I can see the page title with lots of tabs open. This takes that away and gives nothing useful in return.

I used it for 1 hour then switched back to chrome

The arc browser looks reeealy nice... except for the vertical tabs. Absolute dealbreaker, both because I don't want to completely rethink how I use a browser and because aesthetically it looks worse in my opinion

Can you explain the mac and arc setting required to change arc space with a gesture on the trackpad?

There's been so much hype about this browser, so as a Windows user, thanks for making this video so I can see what it is actually like!
A few things I wanted to point out: the element screenshot feature can already be found on Firefox
I have already been using vertical tabs on Edge, but the difference is that they are collapsible and not fixed in place/completely hidden away like on Arc
The Notes feature looks great, as someone who literally makes new tabs and stops them from loading as notes
I love using many tabs myself, so being able to close/suspend them but keep them on my tab list might just be exactly what I've been looking for! I'd have to see how I feel about tabs automatically archiving though, I think that's something I'd just want to do manually...
Spaces within the same window are actually quite nice, would basically be like switching virtual desktops, but on the same window! Could be more distracting than it's worth though.. however I do think it would be so much better than having to juggle multiple windows!

I used arc for a while but switched back to Safari. I find Arc so good and pretty but the power consumption and ram usage is INSANE. If I need to use a chromium browser I'll use Brave but I'll keep Arc in case they improve. Also, you can't keep tabs between devices like Safari without sufficient space in your iCloud which kinda sucks.

Why on earth would anyone allow themselves to be conditioned through the use of hardware-specific keybindings? Unreal.

I personally use Opera because it compresses all features I need into one Browser

For all of those who don't know, the basic shortcuts like CMD + W or CMD + T work on all Chromium based browsers

As a software developer, arc is the producitivty goat, i work on multiples projects and having separate workspaces for each project is soo good.

Meh, screw that browser, it's not available for windows and the URL bar is at the left instead of being at the top of the browser.

I still prefer firefox over this honestly, but everyone has their own tastes

arc is just for people who can't write .css scripts for website customisation-- something that might be concering is that fact that websites often change their css layouts for no reason to break the kind of scripts like these... there's nothing new here- but an idea to export style sheets done to websites would be cool!

I've been using Arc for a few days and I am enjoying it. Especially the clean interface and excellent keyboard shortcuts. I think pinned URL behaviour needs to be resolved (they should behave more like tabs do otherwise it's confusing if they're bookmarks or active tabs).

I look forward to whether or not I become an active user of spaces too.

I've been using Opera GX for quite a while now. It's "Mods" is what mainly keeps me attached to it. You can't go beyond that in customization on any browser. There's also some absurd but cool features like "redeem my soul". It would be the perfect browser if some of the features that opera has but gx lacks would be added to it, such as tab islands.

Not that impressed. Seems that the best thing going for this browser is the looks. Personally the usability and speed is most important in a browser

The only reason why neither safari nor arc are my go-to defaults is because of cross compatability. I use Ubuntu for my desktop alongside Windows 10 and macos on the laptop front so Brave turned out to be the sole competitor to chrome that I felt safe enough to choose (did not mention FF because government sites dont run on it, neither do my uni's websites)
