Oh boy, I went in over my head on this one! In this video I decided to explain what all of Ableton's build-in audio effects do & how they can help improve your tracks. This tutorial is perfect for newer music producers out there looking to improve their work! Also as a side note, I am very excited to say I have some unique & fun content coming soon unlike anything I've ever done before. I'm going out on a bit of a ledge here and I hope the response will be positive because if so, that'll change what I make for a long time (I think you will love it)
Thanks for the support as always! <3

ОтветитьGreat❤❤❤❤❤sir
ОтветитьWowo
Ответитьyou are the best dude
Ответитьawesome, tnx lady :>
ОтветитьCool You really help me Well done!
ОтветитьInvaluable material, thank you!
Ответитьoof my guy you really do not understand the guitar effects
ОтветитьThank you for the video. The music playing in the background when you are talking is distracting FYI. :)
ОтветитьThis guy is a great teacher.
Ответитьan ability to automate a filter doesn' turn it into an autofilter. LFO does
Ответитьsaying that analogy is bad doesn't make it good
ОтветитьThanks for this rundown... what would you recommend for adding volume/power/clarity to a composition during mastering...EQ? My track sound fine in headphones but doesn't have enough umf when I play it through speakers... I'm experimenting with clariphonic VST but not sure if it helps. I'm producing D&B.
ОтветитьI've subscribed for your words hello my inspirations
ОтветитьWhy don't you set the pan yourself? I've just setting those to sound. Like in mai tai, I run my Strat into my marshall into the interface and mai tai and mojito are stacked/set as a temp for guitar tracking or whatever really I've been getting into studio one the last couple months. So I'm really curious about peoples modulation preferences🤨 how far back ya keep the envelopes from velocities? Oscillator temp rates? LFO tempo rates? Signal shaping consistcies throughout the modulations? So I've had a genuine concern about the auto sync buttons. For real though, mai tai and mojito delivers the spankings on the lofi neo soul tone. Dropped the bridge-v and just use the first and third positions and when I want it sound heavy or give it more bark to it, I just adjust the marshal. I'm already gonna use the same amp in amplitube to and between studio one, analog lab 5, amplitube, then all the everything else I have running my shit crashes so its easier to use the amp. But um you got any words or wisdom on how to workflow all this stuff more efficiently? Thanks
Ответитьawesome job! still getting the hang of recording guitar tracks. this vid def helped..a lot.
Ответитьthank you for this
ОтветитьWould be nice to have an updated version, chorus became chorus-ensemble
ОтветитьGud so helpful
ОтветитьBloody annoying presenter
ОтветитьFrequency shifter rocks at tuning samples that don't quite gel.
ОтветитьThis video was done very well in the sense that it is beneficial to both complete beginners, and advanced users. Nice explaining!
ОтветитьThanks so much for this great video!
ОтветитьThis is the best tutorial on the audio effects in Ableton that I've seen. However, the near-constant background noise does nothing but detract tremendously from the great value of this video.
ОтветитьVery useful video. Thanks for this!
ОтветитьCabinet does not emulate your position, but position of microphone placement and how the sound would sound when recorded with that particular placement.LFO explained very poorly. Sorry
ОтветитьIs it just me or some of these effects are very similar to each other
ОтветитьFabulous!
ОтветитьYou consistently said low pass and high pass wrong, but other than that, good job :)
A low PASS filter lets low frequencies pass - filtering out the highs.
A high PASS filter lets high frequencies pass - filtering out the lows.
Best taught video for beginners, on how to use audio/music. software. Thank you.
Ответитьthanks man that was helpful
ОтветитьFl studios audio effects or abletons?
Ответитьyeah pretty sure limiter is a bit more than that...
ОтветитьMvch Love for this vid Man
ОтветитьYou confused low pass and high pass filter. Low pass means you are letting the lows pass through and NOT affecting them. If you're REMOVING the lows, you're using a HIGH pass filter.
ОтветитьVery helpful video! As someone dabbling in a bit of music production from time to time, your explanations give a very relatable sort of insight for each effect and helped me understand a few different concepts a lot better.
ОтветитьWhile you have the best intentions in making this video, many of your explanations are so vague that they give false ideas about each effect, and some explanations are plain incorrect.
ОтветитьIs this Jake Roper’s alt account
ОтветитьI hardly ever comment but this was such a good video. No bs, it was straight to the point.
ОтветитьGood job
ОтветитьGreat. Job done! thanks
ОтветитьAudio Effect Rack is way more useful as a parallel processing rack. Dunno why you didn't mention that lol.
ОтветитьWow, I get why people like Ableton. Some of these default effects are insanely useful.
