11 years at California Fitness Yoga Center 🎉. I’m stuck with a lifetime hero star membership and I must say they brought a great value concept in Vietnam. Luxury gym, Great service, so many classes including yoga, expanded with many clubs opening, affordable cost compared to what I would pay for lesser quality gym in Paris. They have smart marketing too, lure you into spending more to upgrade your membership, you sign for a lifetime membership so you’re not going anywhere, but it’s definitely worth it.

I wish CFYC could keep their best Yoga Masters & GX instructors cuz I’ve seen the best Yoga Masters & GX leave one after the others for the competition , including Citygym, or leave to rich countries, as though CFYC wasn’t paying enough or something made them want to leave. Some of our Yoga masters got fired for XYZ reasons and opened their own yoga studios (Yoga Shala) with new better concept that outgrow Yoga Plus. As members, it’s sad to see our favorite instructors quit, we signed for a certain team, it’s not like it’s so easy to replace one instructor by any other. The best ones left and the not so interesting ones are still here.

Citygym is such a copycat that they copied even the red/ black CFYC color code , copied the deco, instead of inventing their own and they stole CFYC instructors to try to steal CFYC customers.

Randy is my Cousin (his dad and My dad are brothers). Randy has ALWAYS had that attitude and drive even as a kid.

Amazingly, I was witnessing these guys’ success back when I lived in Saigon in 2008-2010. I remember how I signed up for their 2nd gym in D1, near Ben Thanh market. But every so often I’d go and join classes in D5, that flagship Chinatown studio, which was enormous (remember, there were no chain gyms in Saigon back than). Historical times. I’d always see Dane in D5 and their HK Operations team in D1 (smaller club in a high rise pencil case building). Hope these guys still work with Al Morgan as he was the veteran in fitness mentoring n proper BB. Great to see how much you ve grown guys! All the best with pan-Asian expansion.
