ОтветитьForgive typos I can’t seem to correct steek spelling
ОтветитьI HAVE been terrified to even attempt a steel before. Thank you so much for this. I’ve watched many many steel tutorials but none so well explained. Your beautiful calming voice helped too !! I feel confident to try this technique now. Thank you so much 🙏

ОтветитьThank you for this wonderful and well explained tutorial. 💚💚💚
ОтветитьThis was so well explained, I am looking for a tutorial to extend the borders of a sweater at bottom and sleeves . Also how to make a very thin sweater into a double layered to make it warmer .
ОтветитьWonderful!
ОтветитьI am so glad I found you and your beautiful cardigan...thanks so much for this wonderful tutorial!
ОтветитьI am going to try this for the first time this weekend…😬 I really LOVE your tutorial…I had seen many videos with zigzagging, but I like this method better!
ОтветитьThank you for this very clear tutorial. I watched another person’s tutorial and tried it unsuccessfully on my swatch. I then watched your video and tried again…SUCCESS. My daughter will be so pleased as I’ve promised to knit her a colourwork vest top with armhole and neck steeks. I now feel a lot happier about this technique. 😊
Ответитьthank you!
ОтветитьThe button band is genius.
Gives support where it's needed.
Beautiful cardigan and super video

ОтветитьThis tutorial gave me so much confidence to do my first steek! I’m even excited to do it now 😊
ОтветитьMerhaba kat hırkan cok güzel
ОтветитьCan you use the instructions for a Steek sweater and knit it like a regular cardigan sweater?
ОтветитьI am sewing my band on with this same beautiful ribbon. ❤
ОтветитьThis was so concise and easy to understand. I may get brave enough to try one day but starting with the socks first! Can't wait for my package to arrive🍄🍄🍄
ОтветитьAmazing tutorial! Thanks!
ОтветитьThanks! I am almost ready to cut my first steek. This is the best tutorial I have seen so far; I am now feeling much more confident about doing it.
ОтветитьThat was a very clear and informative tutorial - thank you. I haven't tried this but it looks so nice when completed I think I should give it a shot.
ОтветитьBrilliant tutorial! Thank you so very much!
ОтветитьVery clear!
ОтветитьYay!! I'm taking on the icelandic cardigan Gleði next and it needs to be cut, but I wasn't sure I could do it since I don't have a sewing machine to secure the stitches before cutting - but this will work 😁😁😁😁
ОтветитьThank you!!! ❤
ОтветитьThank you so much Katie!!!! So well explained, and i understood everything. Now i can go on steeking without being afraid of ruin the project. Thank you again.
ОтветитьThis is the coolest video I ever watched on knitting. Very illustrative now I ll cut my work confidently . Thank you and more videos waiting on knitting techniques.😉

ОтветитьThank you very much for the detail tutorial and useful tips.
ОтветитьI’ve done steaks before but I wish I’d watched this first, really helpful and well explained
ОтветитьThank you, very clear tutorial. I have never done it, but I will with my next sweater. I loved how you showed it clearly. I feel more confident to try this technique now.😀
ОтветитьThis is outstanding - thank you so much for this tutorial!
ОтветитьHi, really enjoyed the video, please can you tell me if you can use this method with all wool knitting yarns?
I would like to do an edge to edge rather than a button band for my project, is the process the same but with wider steeks ?
Thank you for this very clear tutorial ❤️
ОтветитьDear, Mrs.Katie, THANKS A LOT!!! You gave me power...., Definitely now feel brave enough to do it myself... Wishes from Vilnius (Lithuania)
ОтветитьThanks for the excellent tutorial. I just finished a cardigan 2 days ago and it's ready to be steeked. This will be very helpful.
ОтветитьAmazing, thank you so much. This is so clear now.
ОтветитьThanks Katie, This was a GREAT tutorial! I’m about to start work on a new sweater that requires steeking and this tutorial was wonderful. I’m sort of excited and petrified all at once! In fact, Katie, I’m planning on knitting Kate Davies Scatness Tunic. The ONLY reason I fell in love with this particular design is from seeing your video on Fruity Knitting (#27) recently. I’m so impressed and fell in love with the particular colors you used and how you extended the border treatment on the sleeves. Your version took this design into the stratosphere! SO cool. You may not see this posting to you since the video is a few years old but I would love to know what colors you used to create the magical blend of those colors used in the borders and bodice. Carry on Miss Katie, glad to know you, from Massachusetts! Xox, Gitte
ОтветитьThank you , thank you! This is so clear and direct- by far the clearest tutorial I’ve seen.
