So many reasons declining birth rate is dangerous ! Even just economically......fewer young people, fewer putting money into economy. There will be no support also for future retirement. Immigration will have to keep rising more & more to fill the employment gaps....number of young people gaps...(from countries who still believe having children is a blessing)....There is & will be more of a 'depopulation' problem coming....than a population problem...even in China (they are now trying to encourage couples to have more children)

The '60's........hmmmmmm isn't that when birth control pills etc. Came into play....and abortion legality changed in '70's.....So this claim of his 'saving children' as reason is a non starter! We simply found ways to prevent birth & to kill babies we did not want !
