Disappointed. The thumbnail had me hopeful that a few shots of Grey Goose was the way forward.
ОтветитьThis method is like a dry version of washes used in watercolor and ink.
ОтветитьGreat great video. Thank you Matt.
I bought graphite at a hardware store to try after using graphite powder in a class.
I enjoy messy stiff I guess.
hold up you said ELECTRIC ERASER?!?
Now THAT'S a secret weapon!
i had no idea such a thing existed.
Are you using Stonehenge Watercolor paper?
ОтветитьIt looks hard to do! I’m willing to try though.
ОтветитьWow!! Amazing results!! I love it
ОтветитьAs a very novice person, this is witchcraft, but I love it. Could watch this for hours.
ОтветитьLove this , Thank-you so much.🌸🇦🇺
ОтветитьMy “art” area in my one bedroom apartment is a desk in my kitchen area. Unfortunately this would be way too messy.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your expertise. You're great.
Ответить"the secret weapon for pencil drawings is to not use a pencil" aight
ОтветитьExcellent Tutorial ❤
ОтветитьI just tried this, since I'm struggling with portraits atm, and holy crap! Nvr going back to the way I was doing it! Absolutely amazing!
ОтветитьAmazing video❤
ОтветитьFantastic. This is precisely the information I've been lacking. Thank you!
ОтветитьI have a jar of graphite powder somewhere in my collection of drawing paraphernalia, gotta dig it out and play!
ОтветитьVery cool ❤
ОтветитьThanks for the info! The background music also had some tasty grooves!
ОтветитьDo you have a list of materials you use to create these effects?
Ответитьworse comes to worst you can always revert to the poor mans way to add value for things like backgrounds and clouds, you can brush around the shavings out of your electric or mechanical sharpener, the graphite shavings will add the value like powdered graphite and the wood shavings from the pencil shaft will just brush away. living where there's no art supply within a 100 miles sometimes you just got to make the best out of what you have.........
ОтветитьLove this...can't wait to try!
ОтветитьI'm a beginner . And ready went learn how to draw good poetry
ОтветитьSo awesome 👍. Thank you so much for your tutorials. I've been drawing for so long and with ADHD and no formal schooling this truly inspires and helps me. It's refreshing to know that some techniques I use, like using pencil shavings, are actually real and I could've learned to do a lot earlier had I not been so hard headed...😂 God bless 🙏
ОтветитьDoes this have a shine to the powder? A reflection? I try to stay away from pencils that cause shine.
ОтветитьPlease get rid of that shit music in the background.
ОтветитьThat is incredible! How u brought that to life like that. Thank you for sharing this tip.
Ответитьwow it so simple to understand , i'm beginner but it way too useful for me to see in broader way to see pictures and try my drawing
ОтветитьThank you❤❤❤
ОтветитьI dearly love this technique. Love the push/pull of graphite. Brings me great pleasure.
ОтветитьBoth drawings looked so good. How do you seal them? Or isn’t this necessary? Thanks
ОтветитьSad way to die due to insulation or exposure(health).
ОтветитьYou look clean ( & civilized).
ОтветитьBest video on powdered graphite I have found! Introduced the water soluble powdered graphite to my students yesterday, wish I had seen this first!
ОтветитьThis sounds way less abrasive to the paper!
ОтветитьI wanna know what that first eraser is?????
ОтветитьJust an incredible way of realism pencil drawing!😍
ОтветитьLiked your work very much
ОтветитьI find this contrived and nothing natural about it at all, seriously I’d hate to look that way ……just saying
ОтветитьI got a small jar and emptied the powder from my lead holder. Pure graphite. I use 4h, hb, and 4b; so, I can't tell you what the shading is. Probably closest to hb. So keep your powder from the sharpener of your lead holder instead of throwing it away. I still haven't been able to use it efficiently but I have it.
I.e. I have no idea if this would work with a wooden pencil. It won't work with mechanical unless you grind the lead.
I like to save my lead shaveing for this
ОтветитьThank u for this tip
ОтветитьBrilliant!
ОтветитьIncredible! Great tips!!
ОтветитьLove watching your tips and lectures. Thank you!
ОтветитьWhich animals hair brushes are as effective as possible for this process?
ОтветитьI just started drawing in 2020 when I turned 40. Thank u
Ответитьsimply spectacular!
ОтветитьI’ve been an artist for years…never heard of this. Thank you! Is there something similar for colored pencils? Right now I use pan pastels but they’re not always user friendly with some of the surfaces I use.
