For me the caffeine isn't worth it because it does effect my sleep, which in the end makes me less productive.

ОтветитьI think coffee can affect the sleep cycle if it is taken at a later time. A morning cup would be out of your system by evening, so I think it is important to respect coffee by using it in a wise way. Studies show that drinking after 4pm could affect sleep, but before that I think it's OK. What do you think?
ОтветитьCan be in Academia or research without caffeine. Just don’t over do it! Drink no more than 2 (12oz) cups of Coffee/tea, and make sure your drinking it before 2PM
Ответитьi love coffee. right it is not good for our sleep. i don't drink after noon. even though the caffeine's effect can live up to 14 hours in our body, i sleep very well. just be more active during the day. drink the coffee in the morning or until midday. you can sleep. i have to study a lot. i clearly feel that coffee makes a difference when it comes to concentration.
ОтветитьAs a teen I used to be able to drink loads of tea and coffee and suffer no effects, absolutely gutted because I was a barista and coffee connoisseur but now even a cup of tea/chai keeps me up all night and gives me the jitters, let alone coffee. I am incredibly sad, but for my health have had to give it up. Apparently this is normal when people age but I just can't comprehend how or why, I really miss being young for how physically strong I was (used to not get hangovers either!)

ОтветитьAnyone who wants to really know what Caffeine can do to the body should read the book Caffeine Blues... the effects are very downplayed here. Even in small amounts caffeine disrupts hormones (more in women than men), blocks absorption of important minerals and nutrients in food including magnesium, zinc and iron, contributes to heart disease in great forms and so much more.
ОтветитьMy anxiety is at its top level. I suffer. In the past, I did things regularly and controlled now it seems like a never-ending cycle. I am so irritated. I will not drink coffee but I will sleep more. Actually coffee limits your thinking capacity. With coffee focus you only see a few steps away, it is good for repetitive boring tasks. But if you wanna think strategically and creatively, coffee is not an option.

ОтветитьI think a lot of these comments about how how coffee ruined them or quitting was the best decision they’ve made. There are good and bad qualities of coffee. I have a feeling most ppl just drink sugar (Starbucks etc) and not just coffee so ur just sugar overloaded the whole day which is way worse for you than plain coffee
