Why two engines while she's so light?
ОтветитьQuite an engine. I saw one of these at a railroad museum in Denver. Very big indeed!
ОтветитьIsso pra mim foi um presente
ОтветитьEssa é muito bonita ,e essa bosina é demais
ОтветитьVery - very - good photography.
ОтветитьWhat a beast!
ОтветитьTrains impress me more than planes, rocket ships, cars, kitchen appliances, TVs, satellites, submarines and ships, cell phones, and any form of government!
Ответитьperfect narrator for this video. absolutely perfect. thank you!! you guys took me back to the good old days.
ОтветитьPerfect photography.
ОтветитьI had a model train named after this beast I used to add a liquid that made it smoke
ОтветитьThey took steal and water and turned it into a living machine
ОтветитьThat's one awesome piece of engineering my gramps was hooked on the steam locomotives I can see why
ОтветитьSight of 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
ОтветитьActual "steam punk" in action!
ОтветитьIron horses, how they breathe hard.🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎...
ОтветитьBlack Beauty!
ОтветитьCan you imagine waking up to that whistle early in the morning - is it 1945 all over again?
ОтветитьThey called them the rat pack when all the cars past 4449 the day light back in the early 90
ОтветитьThe horn couldn't have a better person using it cause Ed going to use the s...out of it👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьAmazing I went to the Ford Museum in Detroit and they have a similar engine there I am 6 feet tall the wheels that drive it was taller than me. We have a steam engine in Ontario Canada that runs on the weekend from Tottenham to beaten. Is booked out six weeks in advance. They needed a part for it and found one on a train that sits to the entrance of Halliburton in cottage country.
ОтветитьMy dad started out shoveling coal for CNR just after the war. My grand dad would take me to the round house to watch the engines change tracks. Although I was just a kid, I miss the days of Steam. Thanks for the memories.
ОтветитьAs much as I like these videos of steam trains I couldn't help noticing the diesel locomotive in the string. What was it doing there? Was it a backup of sorts? Curious.
ОтветитьCrew change? do you mean schooled crew change, cause not everybody can just jump in and operate a big boy, correct? And using a diesel electric dynamic braking, ya i can see that as very useful and added safety feature, nice video, thanks for sharing it with us.
ОтветитьWhy did this Big Boy require helpers?
ОтветитьFlippin huge, gotta love these beasties..
Wish I was born back in 1869 🚂
all those powers behind it its a short lenght to pull really !only what 8 coaches at the back
Ответить👍👏♥️
Ответитьlovely white smoker
Ответитьp another steam loco and two diesel el locos!
ОтветитьMore amazing than the P-51Mustang
Ответить4014 bence bu gezegenin en harika lokomotifidir.. love you 4014
ОтветитьAWESOME VIDEO ,🤩
Thank you so much.!!
😃Oh I Love the 4014 ,
" BIG BOY " So Massively COOL , AWESOME!!!
I used to play on this train as a kid and climb in the tinder box I hope to one day take this train on a trip one day so I can experience it as more then just a static display it's my dream
ОтветитьThis is magic I love the power like listening to the sound of a P 51 I remember working on my car when you could get to everything yourself with the help of a neighbor or friend and the guy at the auto parts store would tell you how to do it maybe even stop by your house and point things out but wouldn’t touch a wrench because he wanted you to learn I was in high school
ОтветитьGreat machine but it burns diesel. I don't think I'll stand on a bridge and watch that go underneath. Can't beat a good load on Welsh steam coal.
ОтветитьThey have one on the Henry Ford museum that is so big they engineered the engine to bend in the middle. It could haul several hundred coal cars through the Pennsylvania mountains.
Designed for the Chesapeake & Ohio Railway in 1941, the Allegheny locomotive is 125-feet long, weighs about 771,000 pounds, and could pull 160 coal cars, each with a 60-ton load, through the steep grades of the Allegheny Mountains
There is a Big Boy in the York railway museum in the UK which I saw and boy was it big. There was a Chinese loco there which seemed about the same size and If it wasn't it wouldn't be by much.
Ответить...FASCINATING pieces of sophysticated engineering...
ОтветитьVery cool train. Awesome.
ОтветитьWhat a great time that was for man to overcome such great obstacles with steam and know how ❤
ОтветитьКакие они классные, эти старые паровозы💯💯💯💥💥💥💥💥😊😊😊😊
ОтветитьBig boy is a sexy beast. I would love to go cross country in a sleeper car pulled by this Goliath. 😊
ОтветитьLoved this superb video of muscle man Big Boy. Missed the Red Indians on horses, though.
