FlexiSpot Standing Desk Review: THIS AIN'T IT CHIEF!!

There are a lot of comments here that are beyond sus. Don't know many people who take the time to seek out reviews only to comment on the specific items the company has supposedly improved. Absolutely feels like the company's social team is making fake accounts to flood review videos with lies. Nice try.

I bought a Flexispot desk the other day and it seems they really improved their quality from when this video was made. It does not wobble at all and there were no factory defects.
Maybe the other brand is higher quality but for the one I got being almost half the price and still very solid I can't complain. Only time will tell how well it lasts, but I'm really happy with it so far.

Thank you for the review, it looks like there's mixed messages about what's happened 4 years later, especially with the high-profile brand deals. Any chance of revisiting this 4 years later to see if there's been any difference?

How much is uplift paying you? Because with their extortion level pricing, they have plenty of budget for stuff like that.

Luckily they listened to their reviews and improved. Most brands don't do that.

So, I was about to pull the trigger on a Flexispot desk about a week ago. I'm in the market for a new desk and it needs to be a "standing" desk since I work from home and am an avid gamer. So I spend about 10+ hours a day at my PC.

This review completely changed my choice on what desk I was going to get. I was about to spend $550 on a E5 flexispot desk and after your review, I went with the UPLIFT instead. UPLIFT was more money, but the quality was the deciding factor.

i bought one before this video. still works amazing and no real issues. the only problem i have is the desk height. at the lowest setting possible it’s still too tall. even with my chair raised to its max height. i’m 5’10 shmedium sized. i’m gonna chop the legs down and see what happens

Made an order from Flexispot. Called the next day to cancel. They told me it was shipped and could not cancel the order..... The website showed different. It shows that the order was not even invoiced yet. SO I decided to call my bank and dispute the charges.... They seem kind of shady to me. Thats my experience.

I got the ec1 and I can tell it does nothing this guy says 😂 I had no problem putting it together and it def doesn’t wobble hit or miss I guess

Thanks for this video! You are the only reviewer I could find talking about lateral wobble on the FlexiSpot frames! Apparently they've heard your criticism and updated the E7 (and E8) to being 3 stage poles that become smaller towards the top. Still not sure if I should get one or pay a bit more for the Uplift!

Looks like they upgraded a lot through-out the years, the newer model I want to get EC5 support up to 220LBS with bamboo top and it's around $400 cheaper than a smaller upliftdesk

Bought the 48x30 and it wobbles even when all the way down. It wobbles A TON if it goes above the default height. Bought it for $200 dollars on sale but tbh with this amount of wobble from just moving my mouse around and even typing it's not worth it. Gonna go back to my old sitting desk that doesn't wobble. I would be okay using this if it didn't wobble even when it was on default height :/

Read the Wirecutter review from November. Flexispot is cheaper than Uplift. If you want to spend less and get less sturdy product, Flexispot is probably fine. If you want to customize and get something super sturdy, Uplift is better (per Wirecutter and review in this video).

Just got the FLEXISPOT EN1 for $250, big Win at this price solid and fortunately all parts in perfect condition. Maybe they changed their ways after they saw your video 😄

There’s gotta be something wrong with how you assembled this desk because I have one and it is solid as a rock. Zero wobble! Zero noise! It also does come with cable holders.

Zero wobble, super quiet, great price! Equals best value! My company paid for it and I selected it and no regrets. Got the bamboo top with white legs and motor. Perfect!

Flexispot is crap. And be careful when buying it because somehow I purchased it through Amazon from Dell, so Flexispot customer service has refused to help me with this piece of shit expensive desk that doesn't work.

ive seen that flexispot have missed drill holes on a few reviews now

Flexispot is the worst company to deal with! I have their desktop standing desk version, and the shock broke within like 6 months! I emailed them,/live chatted with them, they told me to email them a video of the problem, which i did, they never responded or replaced the shock, they said they would....and be in contact...after multiple emails, live chats, etc... in which they said every time they'll respond and be in touch, they never have done anything!! buyer beware!

You were so right! I ordered flexispot before seeing this and ending up sending it back. My desktop was damaged and I couldn’t reach anyone via phone and was so passed. I just can’t deal with bad service. Tried Uplift and omg 😱. Love love love. Super sturdy. Well made. Looks good. Better packaged. Overall better experience.

Like the honest feedback. Can you review the newer Kana Bamboo and Kana Bamboo pro? Seems like they addressed some of you complaints whiles still being a bit less expensive than the competition.

It is feasible that if you would pay the full price you would not have gotten a damaged product. You don’t mention how much you paid for it but say you got it for free, it makes sense that they would send you a cosmetically damaged one. Granted it does not look good on camera for reviewing purposes though. Thank you so much for taking the time to do the review

I got the seiffen laminated standing desk (eco & pro) from flexispot this thing is crap. I got an error e08 i contacted support they told me after waiting two weeks for it i will need to wait for another 24 hour. When you own and support a product you should know in 10 mins what the problem is, i wish i saw this video before i bought it.

Thinking of getting the legs only....the legs are solid. £280 and pairing it with a solid wood worktop. The regular worktops for all of these sit stand desks are crap
