I'll take your word for it that the math checks out. But I have a feeling that if you actually did this experiment in real life you'd get a match less than half the time in random groups of 23 people. But then again I'm an idiot, so who knows?

You dont share a birthday with anyone you have ever met, are you 1 in a billion? Not necessarily, he explains that any 2 of them may have the same birthday, so if all of ur say, 128 friends have a birthday on the same day as you, the chances are 1 in 356^128, but this number is multiplicitive and not additive, so the chances are REALLY high, that ANY 2 of them may share a birthday, but that doesn’t necessarily mean YOU are one of the 2 sharing a birthday

Im 14 years old Currently In 10th Grade. In my 6th grade class my English teacher asked us to play a game where we arranged the glass in order of birth days without speaking at all. With us revealing it after I found out 2 other people who shared the same birthday with me which is on the 5th of January along with 2 others in Sixth grade outside of my class. To this day I am still amazed.

My birthday lies on 25th Dec, yet I have not met someone either from school/college class or office who shares the same birthday with me. Or maybe I know not many people.

so then the "unbirthday" math problem is the ONE KEY element to world peace? what I mean is that one culture FIGHTS with another culture because of the NAME of the PLACE they want to own and the place where "their god" is born? you know what I mean..... no one names the "temple" buddist temple UNLESS..... SOUNDS and LETTERING for their favorite place MATTERED.

I'd have to look into this more. Its interesting for those who want to calculate "water quality" and miscarriage rates in certain areas with given FACTORS. In other words, WEIGHTED stats produce more RELIABLE and ACCURATE data. C-Sections are HIGHER during certain times of the year! definitely not surrounded by major holidays? Age of the mother may have some things to do with these situations?


It would be interesting to calculate an ACCURATE family tree verses a tree which a "child created" ... meaning in a REAL woman that brings forth children (you can look up Dr. Momma Jones on OB patterns of distress)... there is a 7 moons timeline in ALL medically accurate birthdays (yes hospice babies exist) and in the mother she would NEED at least 80 days after to "restart" her system. It could be up to 6 months.... but the chances of "irish twins" are basically based on the HEALTH of the mother.

What are the chances a child shares a birthday with their biological parent? What are the chances the child shares an LMP with their biological parent (in other words the sibling of the parent would follow the MOTHER PATTERN of 7 moons and 80 days)? or vice versa? In a REAL family tree, the GAP should exist in the PARENT to their SIBLING.... in a STRESSED family... the GAPS are unusual or fake. Example LMP with parent by 1/52 weeks of year: 1st week of december LMP = virgo birthday

I wonder how the fact that some birthdays are more common like people born in September over people born on Christmas would affect this statistic, cause some people are more than double more likely to be born on certain popular days
