This is amazing stuff
ОтветитьThis video changed my life. I think the half guard stuff is finally clicking. I love you
ОтветитьThis is perfect. This type of video is way better than what I have seen from other creators. This is closer to the training we do in my gym.
ОтветитьWho else clicked this thinking it was danaher
ОтветитьI really like the breakdown and repetition style in this video. Really helps me visualize the details I've been needing work on.
ОтветитьWow, this is some quality content - well done.
ОтветитьGreat video, thank you 🙏🏻
ОтветитьA superior video; instead of repetition of one move, this looks at various situations created in the half guard. i cant believe how much ive gotten from this thanks coach.
ОтветитьI just love this type of video.
ОтветитьGreat video. I’m 62 just finished my 3 class. This stuff is incredibly
ОтветитьThis is a totally amazing video. Just what I was looking for.
ОтветитьBeautiful, effective, basic half guard game gameplan here. I work on the little details of my half guard game in privates regularly.
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьOh man.. I remember seeing you go through a crucible on Roy's channel. Man I like the way you explain things. Submitted!😁 Get it?
ОтветитьBrilliant video!
ОтветитьAwesome Video. Please keep them coming
ОтветитьReally awesome video.
Ответитьbecause of your instructional videos my favorite position is half guard and i'm killing it 😂❤thanks again ☝️🙏🫵🏻🫡
Ответитьwhat a fantastic tutorial. Thank you!
ОтветитьThis is beautiful. It was all I was looking for. Now, I just have to watch it several times until it gets inside my head. Thanks! Oss!
ОтветитьThis is nice, THANKS!
ОтветитьI am 45 and just started BJJ with my daughter. I love your approach and explanations to your videos. I am really enjoying what I learn and love being part of something bigger than me. Great stuff! Keep ‘em coming!
ОтветитьThank you Rick for all your efforts to share! Much love
ОтветитьExcellent overview. I appreciate you taking the time to break this down for us. As a blue belt, I find myself in the half guard often. The issue for me are larger competitors and always getting their head above mine. This provides some excellent ideas to build off of. Thank you!
ОтветитьRick thanks for yr amazing help. 50 yr old white belt beginning the journey with my 16yr old son.
Totally enthused from Australia
Love your content! Its been a big help in my bjj journey! Keep it up and take care!
Ответить👍👌🤙
ОтветитьThank you for this! More positional strategies plz?
ОтветитьAbsolute Gold!!,
ОтветитьReally smooth, effective and tight. Thank you!
ОтветитьThanks for posting this lesson. Much appreciated!!
ОтветитьThis channel is awesome!
ОтветитьHappy holidays! Thanks for all the hard work and great content.
ОтветитьI love the series concept. I could watch this over and over.
ОтветитьAnother great vid, professor. It's obvious you put a lot of thought into prep and production. Quick question -- Do you prefer the low knee shield to high? I suck at half guard, but have always played it with a high knee shield because I feel like it's a better frame for absorbing top pressure, but I get no pinch. Do you prefer a low approach because it allows for a better pinch? Thanks again!
ОтветитьThis is brilliant. I can't wait to train and implement these.
ОтветитьGreat video thanks.
ОтветитьYour videos are exceptionally well done and much appreciated. Very artistic, organized and to the point. Thank you.
ОтветитьThis is great! Love half guard and always looking for ways to improve it. Thanks.
ОтветитьThis is really nice and realistic
ОтветитьThis is a fantastic overview of the half guard both defensively, and transitioning into offensive techniques from bad starting positions. Great video.
ОтветитьI really like that sweep that you use when Jordan whizzers, but another I like better is more a Leite move of continuing to move into coyote and then just escaping the whizzer and continuing to move to back. If that doesn't work then diving for the original sweep or deep half seems to work nice. Most of the time though if you've reaped their near leg enough you'll get back.
This is super cool though. I'm a half guard player and love your channel :)
Excellent video, I’m hoping that you plan to do a similar video on closed guard and all the other major position.
Thank you
Great, thanks for Details, and all vievs
ОтветитьThanks for yet another brilliantly put together instructional video Rick, you've got such a great way of both shooting and presenting these. I look forward to every one and hope to get up to 3rd Way in the not so distant future.
ОтветитьGood wrap up but arguably anyone above 3-stripe white belts should auto whizzer on your way to the dogfight position as otherwise it's obvious they'll get their back taken.
ОтветитьHey Rick, another awesome video. Good for everyone, but great for "old man" jiu jitsu. Not enough people chain techniques in my opinion. I really like the "do this, if he does that" and so on approach.... 2-3 options from each of the most common positions is great for recreational jiu-jitsu folks like me. Thanks again.
Ответитьplease keep making these. This helped me so much! I go
to my back in half guard all the time.
Now I’m not gonna do that lol The details are so important.
Awesome video. I love playing lockdown from half guard. Pretty much the only game I have against bigger guys. Didn’t know there were so many different options from half. I feel like I’m always flat on my back…
