I mean when you compare the previous work of Hans Zimmer to this, it falls flat. But if you view this soundtrack on it's own. It's fantastic. However I really wish Zimmer and Nolan work together again in the future.

I was so hyped by this movie I went and reserved a spot for the book at my library.. it took like two whole months of waiting for my turn and I had to read it in two weeks without renewals bc other people were waiting to read it.

People don’t celebrate movie soundtracks anymore. Listen to this at work while sitting thru excel sheets all day. I feel transported! Wish I could use “The Voice” on few of my work colleagues. LoL. 😊

The second Bladerunner movie had the scale to impress, based on the first - so the SCALE of this remake of Dune has the impression of doing the same, like turning Dune into a 3-book LOTR...oh hang on, Dune IS 3 books!

I respect Hans Zimmer as he's done a lot of great work. In this case, I find it bland. It doesn't sound awful by any means. It sounds atmospheric and feels like you are in the Dune universe, but, it is not memorable. I hate to say it but, AI could have probably done the same job here.

I'm still coming back here, music atmosphere is awesome.

This soundtrack is quite amazing. As a stand-alone soundtrack I wouldn't rate it as high as some of the other soundtracks Hans Zimmer has worked on, but as a Dune soundtrack and especially when played on the big screen it fits the work better than anything else ever could. I hope to see if there was any more music for Part 2, or how we get continued amazing music in that part.
