If you want offroad capability and performance on snow with the same shape as this x3, get a Subaru forester. Just be ready for some road noise the cabin isn't as well sound insulated as a BMW

Bought a X3 30d M sport with adaptive suspension and have never looked back!

Don’t know about anyone else who may have the x3 20d but I totally disagree with mat on the auto box . I have been driving my father in laws q5 recently 2018 model and I have to say it is so much better and responsive then my x3 so slow at times and confused .

Definitely cant go off road...

I Have bought a 3 years old BMW X3 and It Is absolutely amazing car.

Upgraded that shape x4 to the new x3 M40d. Weapon of a car and surprisingly has amazing road presence

This is not the 2017 model because the mSport version in 2017 had an mSport steering wheel.

Mat I usualy see your reviews as holy but the bmw x3 is a lemon and I dont agree with this particular review. I bought a brand new x3 2016 and had the brakes changed after 10000km. My run flat tyres never lasted more than 18000km. Gearbox would shift passed 6 gear, corrosion under the hood when it was delivered...etc...Dumped it after 2 years with 38000km as I didn't want to change the tyres again. Bought a Peugeot 5008 GT Line and never looked back. Bmw had terrible service and the car was a lemon. Never again. Peugeot gives way more value for money. Bought a peug 2008 also. Amazing. So happy now.

It looks horribly grey and bland inside, maybe a different colour combination would look better e.g. cream leather etc.

Matt did you know that the cargo blind , slides in to holders on the back of the rear seat, when not used to cover the boot space? You've missed that point a couple of times now.

You say in your video that it's reported that BMW X3 not reliable but in another video you made about the X3 you say it is🤔😱

Too easy with the with the parcel shelf, actualy a thing I like in every BMW I owned, it can be installed so that you can either separate the booth from the passengers, if you brake real hard, Things won't be flying all over the place. The 2nd way is to install it right behind the first row of seats once your 2nd row has been reclined. Above the rear passengers seats there are is a cover under which you can find a curved slot, ever wondered what those holes were good for? That's where you hook the upper part of the net. in the reversed 2nd seat row you can slide in the lower part of the parcel shelf. Amazing that you haven't figured that out, I first used this system in my E46 Touring in 1999 - eversince I loved it. You find this sistem in all tourings and X's modells.

He is right about the firm ride.  I love the handling but with 19 inch rims it is rough.

Much more practical than I thought. Hate electronic tailgates as they can't be manually rushed. Overall a more glowing report than I expected.

This is almost the same car as the 3l diesel e83 with m package except of the sheer amount of useless electronic stuff in it and the planed obsolescence of the new cars.
