IDF battle Hamas terrorists in southern Gaza with heavy machine guns and Merkava tanks

Israel’s Givati Brigade battled with Hamas terrorists in the south of the Gaza Strip. Combat teams from Givati, also known as the 5th Brigade, fought in Khirbet Ahza. Soldiers uncovered a Hamas tunnel shaft near a school and weapons stashes, including anti-tank missiles, mortars, grenades, and bullets, and attacked terrorist firing positions and observation posts. Meanwhile, in Khan Younis, IDF troops attacked a Hamas squad attempting to attack a Merkava tank. Hamas fighters targeted Israeli vehicles with heavy mortar fire from hidden spots within the city, while in another video the terrorists could be seen planting explosives and setting up booby traps.
