I enjoyed the movie but M. Night can take another look at his script and tighten his story. There's a great movie in there somewhere...

It was even harder for me to suspend my disbelief because the whole film was filmed in the general urban area where I live lol…just like Julian

The mean mom was the actress who goes looking for Paul and gets assimilated in the Jeffries Tube in Star Trek First Contact.

😊 I thought the daughter was to be blamed. I was like wow she's a better actor than the dad. I liked how it all turned out. Fun movie. He's a really good dad 😅

I disagree with the guys about the third act. There's a long and boring scene that doesn't add anything to the story and should have been cut. It culminates in a very limp twist. My guess is the artiste in M Night couldn't bear making a 90 minute movie.

So did the cops know what the suspect looked like? If they knew who he was, why did they have to get him that way? Why not go to his house? Either they knew who he was or they don't. And if they don't, how did they know he was at the concert?

I think some don’t like it or dismiss it because it included M Night’s daughter. I honestly didn’t know until I came to the comment section. The music was ok and I’ve always been a fan of Hartnett (Blackhawk Down, Faculty, 30 days of Night). Not much of a twist but the movie was pretty good.

The twist is that it's a straight-up premise.

I saw Trap. It was enjoyably stupid. I had a lot of fun.

Please do a review of Michael Mann’s Collateral, Tom Cruise plays an absolute badass of a villain in it.

Trap is worse than Borderlands

It reminded me of a Columbo episode too; how-catch-em rather than a who-dun-it.

Hartnett was top shelf despite the script and M Night made a shameless concert film for his daughter. Shifting to her perspective was a big mistake. Leaving the arena was a big mistake. But for the love of god why didn't he end on the missing bicycle spoke?

Trailers reveal way too much these days.

My only only issue with this movie was why was lady raven sooo invested in a person she never met before. They threw me off. But still a great film. And Josh harnett. My boy! Is back lol

I missed Josh Harnett, he was very good in that vampire movie , good for him!

This movie is ridiculous but it was kind of working for me until it started taking itself seriously. It’s going for an 80’s De Palma vibe but it never gets there because it never truly goes anywhere outside of the basic setup.

It’s funny because there’s actually no twist to this. It’s a basic af thriller, and it kinda stays there for an hour and forty minutes.

They filmed this movie in my hometown and I recognized the the stadium 🏟️

I had fun with it. It was silly but I think it was pretty self aware

Josh Hartnett dominates this movie

The only way a concert used to catch a killer is if the ticket buy process required that you have to attach a photo to each ticket bought, via a background check, and they had a genereal description of the killer.

"Where is the card you got in orientation" I was like it's in the apron he just stole.... pretty convenient.... but still fun

I was saying to my Mrs after watching the film, why is the signing parts so unnecessarily long . Googled the actress and find out with is a song writer and artist. Makes so much sense now as to why half the film was focused on her singing. The cynic in me believes this film was created to promote his daughter's career nothing more .

Loves this review, I was worried he was gonna take to a person that he already lied to, like he was a managerr a loving dad and a scared employee, and no one was like hey how can u be working here if ur attending the concert, love his performance as a killer, and some shots like the door sence, but then down right hilarious shots like the guy getting kidnapped ahahahaha

The music good or bad kills the movie Josh is saving this movie for me the music is just over played and all over the place

Half a movie of a terrible pop concert. And then the most half arsed psycho/dexter portrayal ever. I wouldn't recommend this movie to my enemies

That sums up Trap quite well, considering how insipid and unbelievably contrived it is. I thought after Glass, Old, and Knock at the Turdpile this Trap might not be one, but alas my brain was caught in Shyamalan’s brain-fog of ignorant bullshit.
