ASSANGE'S ROAD TO FREEDOM

On June 24 2024, Julian Assange was released
from Belmarsh prison and travelled to the U.S.
possession of the Mariana Islands where he
concluded a plea agreement, and headed home
to Australia a free man. Consortium News spoke to Australian
parliamentarians who helped secure his release.
