The technology is not revolutionary imo. It seems cool at first glance but the problems with scalibility and inefficiency are not due to poor design. But the system itself is not scalable and efficient. When you try to make it scalable and efficient you lose decentralization which is the core promise of the system. Security becomes another concern. Even if you keep it decentralized like Bitcoin, miner centralization over time is another concern.

I think blockchain is only good for one thing and that is Bitcoin. Blockchain is around for so many years now, and do you see big real world problems solved with blockchain?
Then the question is "Is Bitcoin a good idea from a financial perspective?" I think almost everyone agrees now it's not money. It doesn't have the necessary capabilites to become money. So now they say it's a store of value. But do we really need such waste of energy for this? Why not just buy gold if you think it's just a store of value? I am not an economist but believing something is valuable just because its supply is limited doesn't seem logical to me.

I also don't understand the benefits of "Bitcoin-backed fiat". It's not so hard to understand that deflationary money can't help economies grow. If money becomes only more valuable in time, you just hold money as much as you can and don't care about producing something in the real world. You can already see this behavior in crypto community. And the flexibility of monetary system? Yep that's gone too.

To be honest i went through the worst period of my life and i am only lucky to have been introduced to the professional MEGHANTECH that helped me out. After the recent round of collapse exposed how many of these digital coin companies were cross invested in each other, it's blatantly obvious it's all a pump-and-dump scam.

10 years later Crypto has not led to anything other than con artists filling their pockets at the expense of others and lots of pollution.

Crypto currency might have begun with good intentions , but it has been overwhelmed by grifters. And, in my opinion, some formerly honest people became grifters once they realized how easy it was to exploit others using crypto.

It should not be that surprising considering early adopters of the currency were extortionists and drug dealers. These folks have mixed in with the few honest people to create a Wild West type landscape.

Crypto has yet to prove it has value for anything outside of rewarding those at the top of pyramid schemes

As always, with every video or article produced at the lowest point of a bear market, this one is not aging well at all.

It's the same story every time. Those who bought in heavy at the top of bull markets lose out when the market cycles rotates from bull to bear and prices fall. The gut reaction is to scream "scam scam scam" and run away.

It's a MARKET CYCLE! one year later the markets are up and the cycle is turning bullish. Have I been screaming crypto is a scam? Absolutely not! I've been buying the top projects while they are in the dirt and waiting for the real bull run in 2024/2025.
