Protecting an Acid Lab sell mission after finishing my own

After waiting for my Acid Lab business to fill with product, I joined a Public session with it for the "High Demand" bonus money & started the sell mission! I got the single drop parking garage mission, which has me go to the parking garage, trigger the mission (which I used my Compact EMP Launcher to to), lose the cops (which bugged out this time), then make the delivery in the back of a truck. My mission went very smoothly besides a MK2 Oppressor flying a bit close to me, & the moment mine ended I noticed another player selling their Acid Lab business right next to where I just ended mine at! I decided to follow them around in my Sparrow to provide protection in case another player decided to attack. At first they pulled over & started firing homing missiles at me, but after I explained in chat that I was friendly the rest of their mission was a breeze! A couple players in a Patriot Mil-Spec drove past & fired a couple bullets at me, but since they left the delivery vehicle alone, I decided not to fight back because I didn't want to have PvP near the cargo. The rest of their mission went smoothly, with them even riding the delivery bike on the back of an NPC vehicle! After it was done, they even invited me to their MC & we managed some of their businesses together! GGS!
