I'm betting it's only 43k
Great find.....Mecum here we come 😅😅
Ive been shocked a couple of times when testing for a spark. And it ain't nothing like 120 volt house current. The joint in my fingers feel like theyre about to explode.
ОтветитьDon’t forget brakes!
ОтветитьA gallon of pure acetone and some time and all the varnish will dissappear.
ОтветитьThis was great hilarious.
ОтветитьAll that equipment and no funnel?😅
ОтветитьThat's definitely a 43,000 car, not 143,000. He definitely got a steal on that car.
ОтветитьIt really looks like a 43k mile car thats how mine looked when I got it and mine was a 37k car
ОтветитьWhat a clown .It’s firing up just no fuel delivery.Anyway- let’s check the spark 😒Really????
ОтветитьThrow in a 347 stroker kit
ОтветитьWe da best comment section 😂 💪🏼
ОтветитьNow that’s a great car!!!!!!!
ОтветитьBring back all 180 HP, wait it;s a GT so it was rated something like 205hp at best from factory lol. 5.SLOW AF. And yes, I have owned 3 Fox body Mustangs & lots of other Fords (and even work for a company that works directly with Ford & GM) so YES, I can talk smack on them.
ОтветитьNice job bringing it back to life
Ответитьi got one just like it same mileage
ОтветитьIn that situation use gas not starting fluid
ОтветитьSix figure mileage. The digits are all over the place indicating the odometer rolled over.
ОтветитьCool Breeze
Ответить143,000 is relatively low considering these things go to 300k. I mean 25 years ago the average 5.0 Mustang had 140,000 for sure.
ОтветитьI know I’ve posted quite a few messages here but I’m doing them as I watch it and you’re probably gonna end up having to pay to have that parking lot resealed because everywhere that gas has leaked it ruins that parking lot. it softens the sealer up and when somebody drives through it, it peels it up and leaves it on their tires, so I bet those people are pretty angry with you right about now..
ОтветитьI would do a complete gas tank swap with a new fuel pump and then put a new fuel filter on it because the fuel tank is totally cheap for these things and are super simple to pull out and also you might check the switch in the rear driver side corner under the hatch. There is a switch in case you get rear ended that kills the fuel pump.
ОтветитьI always look at the brake pedal and the gas pedal and see how worn it is and if it’s not worn in this case, even the clutch pedal if it’s not worn off or worn down chances are it’s 43,000.
I have two Fox bodies one of them is 120,000 in almost 125,000 miles in the clutch pedal rubber and the brake pedal rubber are worn and the gas pedal is worn on the side a little bit. So if you don’t have any wear on your pads on your petals then it’s probably 43,000 miles
I always use transmission fluid, mixed with brake fluid and then if I do it with the car running, I mix transmission fluid, brake, fluid and water and hold the throttle at about 3000 RPM and slowly pour the mixture down the carburetor or in this case, the throttlebody and yes it smokes like crazy but it cleans all the carbon off of the Pistons and heads
ОтветитьT-top, full power options, very rare car especially for the condition its in I'd definitely say 40k miles. Great find young eli
Ответитьholy shit Batman. I love it
ОтветитьCheap alex i need 500 dollars in el salvador man
ОтветитьHalf way through I diagnosed a faulty Ignition switch as you can clearly hear the motor dying as soon as he let's go of the START position on it.
Don't feel bad I am 70 year old Petrol head and can diagnose in my sleep.
Greetings from a retired South African Boer.
Poor Ford Design, not enough engine breathing front openings!
Ответитьlmao...this is as sketchy as my build... I love it.
ОтветитьI bet that mustang didnt get covid
ОтветитьTerrible, this guy has an SVT that he cant fix but hes helping this mommy and daddy little baby "reserect" a peice of junk they bought him. And people wonder why America is in such bad shape
Ответитьi have an 87 convertible with 70k miles on it and the interior looks a bit rougher than that car. i’d say 43k miles.
Ответить43k
ОтветитьFunny story I bought an 87 convertible that’s has been abandoned for 15 years and took me 1 1/2 years to fix it up. And now it’s my daily driver ;)
ОтветитьI would think your mustang is 43,000 miles based on the interior.
My daily driver's are a 1981 5.0 Foxbody Thunderbird
&
a 2012 Chevy Holden Caprice PPV 9C1
Both are very fun.
I am not a car guy so I've had to have pay for maintenance and repairs.
I paid $2,500 for the T-Bird in 2013.
It has 87,000 miles.
40k on the engine and transmission.
Probably have $12k in it total in maintenance/ repairs up to now.
Paid $10,000 for the PPV in 2022 and probably have $12K in it in repairs/ maintenance up to now.
Everything on the Caprice is more expensive because parts are harder to find.
I love my Foxbody , but it was a farm car in Nebraska and looks slightly rough but is mechanically sound.
I have both the Haynes and Chilton's manual for the T-Bird but nowhere to work on it and definitely no ability.
Watching this video was very helpful and informative.
fake af. They just threw a bunch of leaves and dirt on it to make it look dirty and "abandoned". Sadly, people are so dumb and gullible they believe this lmao. "I can't believe it's running so good!" Yeah, that's because it's not an abandoned car. Listen, great idea for content and people obviously fall for it so kudos I guess
ОтветитьMy son and I are about to bring my wife's mustang out or the woods. And try to bring it back alive. This video helps out alot. Thank you. It's been sitting 10 years
ОтветитьThe Hellcat was riding his brake & appears to not have known this was a race? If he did that Dodge would have lost that old Ford in a blink!
ОтветитьMaan is that fuel cap still in quarantine 😅
ОтветитьBolsters are always a tell tell on a fox body.. definitely only 43k on that bad boy
ОтветитьI wanted to ask...that T top is pretty as hell...but that pretty leaks or drips??
ОтветитьFoxbodys man! I’m so excited that my uncle is handing over his old highschool foxbody to me! A 91 convertible though, but it’s a 5.0 too
ОтветитьMan. Too cool. I have wanted a fox body 5.0 since forever.
ОтветитьI have a 1991 GT mustang this video was nice thanks I subscribe to your channel
ОтветитьI'm not at the end, so you may have figured it out. There is likely a problem with the faulty ignition switch causing loss of ignition power when rotating the key off start.
ОтветитьSell it quick... LOL
ОтветитьI can't believe you managed to not get fuel anywhere at all!
Ответить
