No wonder so many people despise the phantoms... Half the player base has to deal with a whopping 9 HEARTS of damage from those suckers on hard mode! That's as much damage as an axe in java.

Playing on hard with keep inventory toggled on is a blast! The only downside is it disables achievements for some reason. I never understood how that's a "cheat"

On my skyblock singleplayer game I switched it from normal to hard to increase my mob farm’s efficiency from 69415 items/second to 69420 items/second and so I can scavenge mob drops for more pre-village-island armor and iron- often enchanted.

ToyCat is suggesting people play on hard, and here I am posting on my friend group's Discord about why I want it switched back to Normal so that I can actually handle enemy mobs since I suck at combat in this game.

How the heck did I not know that you can smelt iron items and get nuggets I have played Minecraft before they put Minecraft on PlayStation lol!!!!!

There are also ways that Java is harder than bedrock like in bedrock you can basically god bridge without even being good at the game, and also how much more powerful ravagers are on Java than bedrock

You said that raids are the same on hard difficulty as they are on easy because pillagers deal almost the same amount of damage on all difficulties but no other raid mobs are like that and will deal way more damage on hard difficulty

Hard mode is easy for experienced players. But for new players... the only easiest thing in hard mode is dying.

Wait, I've found that Manson with in my first few hours of playing. Bu I was so under geared I died three times in it.

I feel like Hard mode is actually really hard. Like, I'd be good with OP gear, but early game minecraft on bedrock, there is ridiculous enemy spam. Nether Fortresses have so many enemies. Like that's great if you're trying to farm wither skeletons or blazes. But, it's horrible when you're wearing iron armor and you die super quickly.

Easy isn't fun or easy.

Do you have a full set of iron armour? And a sword? Cool! Too bad there are skeleton archers in 2 different directs and by the time you kill one and run back to the other you're dead.


Or my favorites when you're in a cave fighting 1 mob and a creeper falls on you.

It's like the creators of the game have zero life experience to reference and never used even anything as simple as a bicycle for reference.

Lowered spawn rates for easy difficulty and a cap on how many mobs can pile drive a person.

I absolutelt hate seeing teens and adults complain that kids, casuals and people with disabilities have to play creative mode or stop asking for an inbetween option.

Ironically the people the most against making the easy setting easier DONT EVEN PLAY ON EASY TO BEGIN WITH. They're the Karens of the gaming world and its shameful.

Eh, I wouldn't say Hard is easier, it's just much less of a grind if you really stay inside a world/chunk extensively and since you are putting yourself more at risks, whereas those on Easy don't die as often, but because they don't take risks, everything takes longer, at least that's how I see it. For sure, if you just switch between difficulties, like putting on Easy when you go out at night, and Hard for Mob Farms, then yeah, it's pretty broken, but with the Difficulty Lock, then you can't ever say you made it easy in a Hard World Let's Play.

Just wanted to say: it's completely wrong that difficulty affects the number of mobs. Hard doesn't spawn more enemies than normal or easy.

i've only died twice in hard mode and all were because of lava
