specially camera overlapping with floor, so I have to remove it, thanks for the tutorial, it was really helpful
i LOVE YOU. i can't understand why they or he didn't left old camera like v3. They fixed some poses with weapon in crouch, like example, fixed legs and jump. And that's all. Don't need to make wheel. There is all have, only need just some couple things.

How can I do this for ALS v3?
ОтветитьSo I'm new to the ALS party... I've spent the last week ripping it open and figuring out how it works but the camera system has me shaking my head. Is there any benefit to using the ALS-style ('player camera manager' overridden) camera as opposed to the much simpler spring arm component system? I feel like maybe I'm missing something but ALS just seems so much more complex without a good reason?

ОтветитьOMG THIS WAS SO GREAT, BUT WHAT WE DIDN'T NOTICE WAS THAT SINCE IT'S A TAG, IT CAN BE ADDED OR REMOVED AT RUNTIME IN BLUEPRINTS BY SIMPLY ADDING OR REMOVING THE TAG FROM THE TAGS ARRAY!!! 🤯🤯🤯

ОтветитьHi! My character is not able to move left and right anymore with the spring arm and camera. Do you have any idea what could I missed? I deleted the als character actor tag, I added the sprint arm and camera in Als animman, I checked use pawn control rotation and unchecked inherit roll.

ОтветитьFor ALS Community edition, there is an additional step needed. We also need to switch the ALS Camera Manager class to the default Unreal player camera manager class. Open ALS_Player_Controller in ALSV4_CPP Content>AdvancedLocomotionV4>Blueprints and under Player Controller, change Player Camera Manager Class to PlayerCameraManager.

1. remove actor tag in BP details,
2. Add Spring Arm and Camera (set camera to use pawn control rotation, enable lag on spring arm)
I dont think the aim offset is working
