The best of the best, on both ends.
ОтветитьThis is not cockpit recording it is atc . Cockpit recording is 30mins
ОтветитьSends chills down my spine listening to this. He has nerves and balls of steel.
ОтветитьThat's a terrifying "Unable".
Ответитьthese are proffesionals. they are keeping calm, responding fast, talking clear and the pilot saved all passengers
ОтветитьHe never really had to crash into the Hudson. From these photos you can clearly see that a white forcefield was constantly surrounding the plane, so he could have attempted the return to the Airport without any risk for the plane.
ОтветитьHero...
ОтветитьWho translated the radio transmissions for the captioning, a non-English speaking Japanese student?? LMAO. Good job Sully and team!!
ОтветитьI’m surprised they ever got airborne carrying the weight of his enormous balls.
ОтветитьThank God it wasn't a woman pilot....she would have been getting emotional.....Old Sully locked-in and let er rip.
ОтветитьAs a New Yorker I’ll obviously never forget this day and on top of all of that I drove up the WEST SIDE HIGHWAY a couple of hours before this occurred. I would’ve been casually cruising north on the West Side Highway as Sully casually landed AN AIRPLANE to my left!! LOL. Sully is the G0AT of Pilots!! A legend!! 🐐🤌🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏
Ответитьthis isn't a cockpit recording it's just radio comms in the area.
ОтветитьYeah this isn't the cockpit voice recording. It's the recording of the ATC communications. HUGE difference.
ОтветитьFalse advertising. This is an ATC recording not a cockpit recording. I hope the poster hasn't paid for the 6M+ views.
ОтветитьRunway 4 is still available...
ОтветитьI love this video
ОтветитьEveryone was present in their roles they were doing.
ОтветитьThis is not the cockpit recording this is ATC recording.
ОтветитьDon't forget how the aircraft held together after being forced into being a boat. The whole back end of the aircraft had to take the initial impact. It is not designed for that.
ОтветитьHe called the guy an idiot. He finally cut him off and made his own decisions. Following the controller's directions probably would have gotten everyone killed.
ОтветитьHe saved all crew members passengers true hero
ОтветитьFYI, I don’t think this is the CVR, this is the ATC communication with 1549
ОтветитьGood work Sully!
Ответить[ troll comment ]
ОтветитьIt's no miracle, balls of steel on pilots, they save a lot people
ОтветитьThis isn’t cockpit recording. This is atc recording. Yes there is a difference.
ОтветитьI cant belive thats no record of this in manhattan...
ОтветитьI thought it was the wrong plane at first because the date was 14yrs ago… 2009 was 14 years ago damn. Ik that’s how time works but I’m only 19 why does time fly to fast
ОтветитьPeople, this is not the cockpit voice recording. This is ATC audio. The CVR records the cockpit. Not just the radio traffic but everything in the cockpit. Even what the captain and first officer say to each other, all the alarms, engine sounds, EVERYTHING. How do people not know this by now?
ОтветитьThose damn uninspiring old white guys…. If US airways woulda been smart they’d of had a young inexperienced minority woman flying that plane. Sure everyone woulda died, but at least they’d be able to fill their DEI quotas!
ОтветитьCapt Sully, what an absolute hero! He saved all those lives. He is a hero
ОтветитьBless that ATC guy. Doing his best to find a runway and cant understand Sully saying he's gonna be in the Hudson. Had to laugh a bit there
Ответитьnot a cockpit recording
ОтветитьAll glory to the LORD
ОтветитьThe whole staff are hero’s specially the captain and his side captain. God was watching out for them that day 🙏🏻
ОтветитьThis is not "Cockpit Recording" this is a conversation with traffic controller
ОтветитьAlways made me wonder why the LaGuardia contact acted all bent, "WHICH engines?"
ОтветитьWhen you have a lot of options and you pick the only one that saves everyone's life.
ОтветитьThis is NOT cockpit recording. This is the ATC recording.
ОтветитьDoes anyone know if there's the actual cockpit voice recording out there? Not the radio communication.
ОтветитьWow 😳🤯👌
ОтветитьSully, a legend.
ОтветитьI just love how many times the pilot says he’s gonna be in the Hudson but the ATC guy just doesn’t acknowledge it
ОтветитьThe professionalism of everyone involved is astonishing. Very inspirational.
ОтветитьSully should have known he had no chance of going to an airport of any description and made it more clear to Air Traffic Control that he was ditching into the Hudson River and so advised ATC of the anticipated point of landing on a countdown!!!
Ответитьit is not 'heroic': it is merely the demonstration of a pilot's excellent all-round skills.
perhaps it is 'miraculous', but only insofar as such a situation is highly unlikely to have the outcome that this one did.
I know what happens and this still makes me nervous!
ОтветитьMy hero
ОтветитьRead his book
