I'm starting to remember AC4...

If I had a nickel for every pirate-themed DLC for a strategy game that has a banger of a sea shanty, I would have two nickels, which isn't much but it's awesome it happened twice.

Most random time to come back to this trailer but I still remember the first time I watched it. There are very few times where a game trailer: DLC and Base Games alike that get me hype but THIS ONE.... oh man let me tell you. I LOVE sea shanties, dragons, and just in general Aquatic themes. The song itself gave me AC Black Flag Vibes and Nostalgia to no end. Very awesome trailer and it had some really great and fun content.

The space shanty from the aquatic trailers was very popular that they added an archaeological site you could find in a game after the Overlord update.

This games ok but there's a few things i don't like about it.
I don't like the small icons for research.
Characters should be high quality 3d models with animation.
You should be able to see the surface of planets. See your constructed buildings. Maybe rain or fog. See a few ships flying around.
I don't like the 2d Sprite characters.
Game performance seems ok. Never crashes for me
But overall this game is not better than mo2! Which came out what 35 years ago?
To me this game feels like the devs. Didn't care too much about asthetics
Which in my opinion is hugely important!
I give this game a rating of 6.0 out of 10
If they just added nice 3d graphics for characters and technology. Made it so you can view the planet surface.
Also 3d for anomalies. If they did this i think they would have a great 4x game!
I mean I was playing it. Landed a colony ship on a planet and it didn't even have an animation. I was very disappointed.
I won't touch any new content for this game. And won't be buying a 2nd version unless they do what i mentioned

PS4 when?? I got back into Stellaris and I need this!

The aquatics DLC Reminds me a little of the 1980s film The Abyss, where deep sea divers discover a civilisation of water aliens (maybe ?) living in a deep trench or a potential civilisation that might be living in the moon wide sub-ice ocean on Europa
