use foil on meat to stop it burning. take foil off for the last 10 mins of the cook
Ответитьput a onion on the end
ОтветитьPro tip: Use an onion instead of a lemon.
ОтветитьI took off the wooden handles and just use the steel skewers now. I needed some decent heat proof gloves and initially I used some mole grips to grab the ends to flip them.
ОтветитьWhen using a Tandoor oven, first you should burn the cher coal properly and just before putting the skewers in the tandoor you should put down the burning ambers;, so that, your meat or veggies don't get burned. And on the end of the skewers you should put a hard veggies like potato, so that it do not fall off. After putting the skewers in the tandoor you should cover the tandoor top for some time with a lead, so that the meat or veggies cook property in the contained heat.
ОтветитьI have a homemade Tandoor and looking to buy one of these, good video.. Re the cooking I would put less meat on a skewer, I put just one piece of chicken (skinless) and I’d look at getting some skewer stops, I find the cooking zone is in the chimney area away from the coals stops burning!
ОтветитьGreat to see you showing your struggles. There's too many "insta perfect" people about these days. Looking forward to what you will do next.
ОтветитьGood video, would love to have seen a taste test, how was the flavours from the rubs? Your production quality is improving!
ОтветитьAwesome stuff. Was really refreshing to see the fact that it's a learning process and there's lessons to be learned from it. So much on t'internet is "do this, do that, perfect food". Great Job. 😃
ОтветитьLooks delicious Marcus! I've also been toying with the idea of getting a tandoor and or making a tandoor for ages. I guess having other bbq's, I've made do with what I have. Maybe one day lol Great video :)
ОтветитьI built a tandoor à couple of years ago. I have quite a few barbecues but hands down it's the most fun one I have. No hair on my arm but a smile on my face
