RetroArch Starter Guide

Question.

I just bought myself an 8BitDo Ultimate controller for a nice feeling wireless controller to use for my emulator setup on my PSC.

When my PSC boots into AutoBleem, I get no functionality with this controller at all, so I have to use my other controller to then boot into Retroarch. Once I do that I can see the notification that the 8BitDo controller is connected, but then disconnects right away afterwords.

Any suggestions? I’d love to use this nice controller for my retro games

How do I slow down time when playing, I know how to speed it up but not slow it down on android

I don't know if it's me, but the new build is layed out a lot different, it takes a bit of searching to follow the guide

Good walkthrough, but you are moving way too fast my man. Take it slower.

Grettings... The "Queijo shader preset" shader created by "Hopetagulos" is very good, and I recommend trying it out. A package with several shaders that treats the image with sharpness, transparency effect, flicker, improves jagged edges, handles dithering, crt effect, etc.

Yeah if you're going to use an emulator you can't take the high road and say "you're on your own" on where to find roms. You're already breaking the law, might as well just say where you got your games. OR doom every moron here to viruses looking for games.

One thing that's so annoying is using 2 controllers like with Sega games and getting them to work independently. Controller 2 always controls player one and player 2 instead of controller 2 controlling only player 2 and when setting up 2 controllers controller 1 also controls both players. Any ideas here at all? Have tried endlessly with Sega Secret Command. This function seems missing in every tutorial and yet is one of the main functions for multi player.

I have a similar experience with RetroArch, though my first contact with it was quite recent, when it was added on Steam. I installed it but I couldn't figure out how to do anything and immediately uninstalled it. It wasn't until a handful of months ago when I finally decided to soft mod my Wii U that I figured out how to use RetroArch, as with modding my console, I also installed RetroArch on it and started to toy around with it. Once I figured it out, I installed it on my PC again (not from Steam, though) and I have been playing and learning more and more about it ever since. I'm kind of addicted to RetroArch, to be honest. It's really nice! I just wish the Wii U version could run Saturn games and that the Super Nintendo port of DOOM wasn't as buggy on RetroArch. It runs perfectly fine but with graphical artifacts around the screen on PC while on the Wii U it also runs fine and with the same artifacts, but the audio is completely messed up. Either way, as of writing this comment, I still haven't figured out how to sort out those graphical artifacts and I still couldn't find anything about it anywhere online. :(

Can you play retro arch gaming emulator offline, multiplay, install mods to some games, and back up data where you can continue your existing data with your gaming process on other devices?

Im so mad i made my girl spend $200 on my rp2s and i dont know ANYTHING about rom/bios installing. Ive watched about 65% of this video and I know NOTHING 😩😫😢😭
