This guy didn't talk about the music, the upgrade system in dark moon or put any emphasis on the mission system being NEEDED since the 3ds is just limited.
One of the reasons that his points are mainly deflected on all of the games is that he didn't do any research other than about the Dark Moon title; another reason is that the multiplayer for darkmoon was just a bunch of Luigi's because the 3ds couldn't fit the rest of the mario cast into the online download play which is a main feature for the 3ds's multiplayer btw. (250 mbs for multiplayer on top of the base games 4-8 gbs)

So there's actually a reason they scrapped all the old ghost designs, even if I wish they never left.

Vincent Van Gore is the creator of the generic ghosts in Luigi's Mansion 1, so unless you bring back Van Gore, they can't return.though I certainly have always wanted some of the iconic portraits to escape again with King Boo myself

I love Luigi’s mansion such great games. The first game will always be my favorite I love the atmosphere and lighting and the ghost design. The other two are fun games but feel different than the first for sure. I do like 3 more than 2 because it feels like they learned from 2 and tried to make the original fans more happy with 3. Still great series overall

Polterpup alone justified LM3. Every time Polterpup is on screen I always have a stupid grin on my face.

The themed floors in Luigi's mansion 3 disappointed me. I really loved the different mansions from dark moon because each of them had it's own story and structure. I miss that

I feel like 2 gets to much backlash, and I feel that 1 is too overrated. People always complain about how 2 is mission based, but the original is actually so railroaded that it might as well be mission based. In one you always get the same keys to open the game door to fight the same portrait ghosts over and over and it never changes on repeat play throughs. The story is more developed than in 1, the charm is impeccable, the final boss is the best in the whole Luigi’s mansion series, and there is still exploration via gems and boos. Really, 2 is objectively better than 1, and I feel that those who say that 1 is the best in the whole series are nostalgia biased.

Seriously, though. Luigi's Mansion for the GameCube is still the best in the series. 3 is a very good sequel, 2 is terrible. But the sequel ghosts are too generic. Everything in the original is just perfect. Character designs, music, the mansion, the battles. 10/10.

Next Level Games really looked at the original and said "how can we make this worse".

I remember when I bought Luigi's Mansion 3, I was dressed in my halloween costume. I then drove 1.5 hours to visit my sisters, still in costume, where we planned to marathon the game, on our own systems. We ended up just playing Mario Party 6, and called it an early night, but it was still a great experience. 10/10

the 1st luigi's mansion game was actually scary. With the other two games i didn't really get the horror vibe.

For me luigi's mansion dark moon (2 for me because i'm french) is the game of my whole childhood and one of my favorite nintendo's games, i've like 600h on this game

Just glossing over the scary as shit “Nintendo” sound intro is surprising. I actually forgot it existed, so when I booted up the version of 1 for the 3DS for the first time, I almost had a heart attack it was so scary! I was 16 at the time. I actually waited a couple days to play it at noon with my brother (who is younger) passively in the same room.

I think the mission version makes since. Dark moon is NOT for long played and once you reach clock tower when you are at the bunker most times e gadd will tell you to go to the vault and if you decide to go straight into the next mission he acts as it’s been a few days. Saying “just the boy I needed to see” inferring that he wants you to only play 1-2 missions at a time.

About the Luigi mansion 2. It will get a remake somepoint in 2024. With super princess Peach 2.

Love how he talks about the ending of LM2 and the reunion between Mario and Luigi being sweet, but doesn't even mention the reunion scene in LM3 which had me in tears bc seeing Mario that excited and proud of his brother was something special

You got dream team for the rpg series, a new super mario bros gane but it was entirely luigi themed

And then this game with mario as soon as he got out of the painting saying

luigi's mansion is one of my favorite game evere but i must say i enjoied more the second than the third chapter

In dark moon Mario and Luigi kinda have an audible conversation

The multiplayer mode of dark moon "scarescraper" is a very interesting mode that is very fun with friends and family. But if you want to play it to get the highest floor "99" it is nearly impossible due to the amount of glitches and bugs the game still holds. An example is the key glitch, this happens when you are very far into scarescraper "60-99" and as you might have already guessed its when no keys spawn. And sometimes you just cant pass the level because one of the ghosts is missing. Overall its a very fun gamemode but you just cant really beat it due to the bugs that Nintendo unfortunately cant fix.
