Alpha vs Maxis Match

I prefer alpha but I have maxis

Maxis Match, but a little bit of Alpha makeup. I prefer Maxis Match, hair, clothes, skins, shoes, and jewelry, and a little bit of Alpha makeup is a perfect combination for my gameplay. I wouldn't mind using Alpha CC the only problem with Alpha CC is Everything looks cartoonish and out of place when you get into the actually gameplay., and now i feel like gotta change the townies, fixs up the builds, and that is too much work (AT LAST FOR ME), and on top of this I only have an HP laptop so my space is limited.... Plus, I already spent 8 hours creating a family of sims... I am not trying to spend 6 months or less in cas trying to change the townies, but no shades to the people who use Alpha CC.. It's just not for my gameplay.

I more prefer maxis match because alpha hair looks like plastic on my laptop 😂

I think Maxis Match is better then alpha because then your sims blend in with the npcs around them and don’t stick out

It depends honestly. Hinestly I wish sims4 just either did it more cartoony like what another life sim is doing now or more realistic. Because from the point of view from an artist seeing sims 4 compared to sims 3 actually had me upset. I dont like it at all. They tried something, they took a risk and they failed. Luckily they fixed some of the colours they used in some of their updates. But yeah at least they were trying to be a bit more creative with the style but its so unpleasing to look at. So whenever i get cc i either get more maxis alpha or something that resembles maxis match but is way more cartoony and soft😅

Maxis match all the way! I used to use only alpha cc, had a folder with 11 gb of content, but one day I just got sick of all the mess and deleted everything. Then, slowly started downloading Maxis Match cc, kept it well organized and that's the best thing I've done for my game. Now my folder is only 3 gb and the style fits so well, it's so cute. Also, random sims don't look that bad as they did with alpha cc

Alpha because it's more realistic and it's much more beautiful in my opinion so you can make more realistic LP

Maxis is way cuter in my opinion because you have the ability to make your sim look good and still keep the original art of the game.

I would recommend using Maxis match skin and skin details, as well as the clothes and accessories, but use alpha hair and lashes. Then add some highlighter and lip gloss and, lastly, use a reshade with a sort of cartoony look to it. This will help you to make beautiful Maxis mix sims. I have been using this method for abt 4 months now and i' m obsessed with how every one of my sims has come out.
