Im so cross! Your tip about changing the setting so u could do the paint the terain fasterHAS RUINED MY GAME! I have the screen set 2 big so i can see it... game worked fin i changed vsync i think it was now it reverted bk to small & i cant see it. You need 2 warn people about chaning settings!

ich hatte mal wieder richtig Lust auf Planet Zoo, aber wie so oft hat mich das gigantische Ausmaß dieses Spiels schon vor Spielbeginn so überwältigt und eingeschüchtert, dass ich es (wie so oft) letztlich doch nicht gespielt hätte... wenn ich nicht auf dieses Tutorial gestoßen wäre. ;-)

Die Gehege baue ich schon lange recht natürlich, aber was mich immer demotiviert ist die Steuerung, die schrecklichen Wege und das Bauen von Gebäuden, weil es quasi unendliche Möglichkeiten gibt und mir schlicht die Kreativität fehlt.

Mit deinem Video hast du kompakt alles zusammengefasst und mir gezeigt, dass man mit wenigen Teilen richtig schöne Gebäude erstellen kann. Und dass auch du manchmal mit der Steuerung und den Wegen zu kämpfen hast, mit Geduld aber doch zum Ziel kommst, ist irgendwie beruhigend.

idk if its just me who has a problem with the whole align to grid thing because when i use it, it wont connect to the actual path im using the grid on, it just says obstructed. I haven't touched any of the settings, the grid path was automatically elevated slightly and had railing around it and wont connect to the main path. Someone please help im going insane

Was thinking I might go back to PZ, even redownloaded it and revisit my old zoos a few days ago. PZ is still my favorite zoo game ever but unfortunately the building aspect is too overwhelming. I used to find consolation in not playing by watching Rudi and others great builders. Might actually go back to fill up my zoo now. Thanks Rudi!

That was a fantastic video; I watched it in full. However, I have a big favor to ask. Nobody has ever done a video that could help thousands of players with the same problem. The problem is, yes, you show how to do it, but you are skillful, patient, and maybe you have a bit more time. I, and probably many other players, would love to use already uploaded amazing content. However, when I try to use this in my zoo, it never works. Mostly because the pathing is horrible and mostly due to restrictions. I play franchise only. I have every DLC, unlocked every single item, and researched all of them. Yet, I am still unable to use most of the items I downloaded from the workshop. If I'm lucky, and it's actually possible to do it, then I can't place them where I want, and it's impossible to place paths and barriers accurately.

What I would love you to do is to start a zoo and, using your stuff from the workshop or maybe others, create a zoo from many different blueprints. Show us how we can import them, how we can connect everything blend them nicely, what the restrictions are, and how to overcome those restrictions. Show how to edit existing blueprints, maintain the same style of the zoo, and what to avoid. Like I mentioned before, there are many tutorials on how to place a blueprint, maybe even one or two showing how to try to path them, but no one is showing how to combine this altogether. Some say use your imagination, be creative, but not everyone is good at this. I want to enjoy the game. I can't enjoy it with my level of creativity the way I would like to play.

Here is what I have in mind: start a new zoo with 40,000, like every zoo, then with just some cheap habitat and only essential stuff buildings, build up some reputation and cash, and then replace them with amazing creations. Make everything exactly like the authors of the blueprints wanted and combine them together. I hope you can respond to it, and maybe even agree to it, as that would allow me to play the game like I always wanted. I even got mods from Nexus that allow free placements, but it still is not working for me. Do you use mods? Maybe you could show us how to use them properly. Great you're back. ❤😊
