Dang, it's warm enough to power wash where you are??? Lucky!
ОтветитьI'm amazed at how fast you work. You are a hard worker and the customer is getting good value. It takes me forever to do something and I'm a founding member of do it twice theater. Like you say, "the customer wants what the customer gets,"
ОтветитьExcellent 70s vibe tear down music! Combined John Phillip Sousa and classical? Russssss.......
ОтветитьGood job.
Ответитьwhat sealer do you use?
ОтветитьRob, you’re really getting your system down Pat. I’m guessing you love the Scotty trailers since you’ve done so many? I’m still amazed the old timers figured out how to build something light, cheap, sturdy, that if cared for, really lasts
ОтветитьRob, I think the machinery used to make the metal would be way cheaper than a 4-6’ wide one. Also, lighter to handle, easier to repair, etc
ОтветитьLol wait till you see how many pieces mine is and funny thing , the glendale company that made mine burnt down twice , thats why i cant find any info on my camper ,,,must be something there i think lol , im not saying anything just noticed you ssid something that made me think hmmmmm.....
ОтветитьLoved watching this, great job!
ОтветитьFantastic Music selections!
ОтветитьCan you put it back together that fast 😅
Ответитьhave you ever thought about sanding and poly the floor using 3/4inch plywood like this? i think it "wood" be incredible looking in a super high gloss like a gym floor. just an idea?1?!
ОтветитьI have often wondered if just one coat of shellac gives adequate long term protection against abrasions, scratches, rubbing, moisture and sunlight protection? Or are you giving multiple coats that I just did not see?
Durability of surface coatings are generally important to me as I myself tend to be hard on things and scratches and blemishes bug me.
That does appear to be really nice 3/4 inch plywood. I guess I have gotten used to really crummy surface grade plywood since nice wood is often readily available unless you bring lots and lots of greenbacks to the cash counter.
ОтветитьOverall, the chassis of this trailer looked very good and solid structurally. Too bad the wheel house cut outs were not long enough to span the width of the floor at the rear. Will all those cutoffs be used elsewhere in the build in order to utilize the most of those 3 sheets of pricy 3/4 inch plywood?
ОтветитьEvery camper you made are nice. I'm your number one fan.
ОтветитьThe fire was in 1997, and John Serro died in 1998.
ОтветитьHahahaha I was just as perplexed about why the skins come in a bazillion pieces. I'm glad to hear I can replace it with 4' pieces and dump the old stuff.
ОтветитьYes I need all the videos on the early 80’s models!!! We started with thinking we were just going to replace the roof too we may have to do a rebuild 😢
