Basic 3D Text in Fusion - DaVinci Resolve Beginner Tutorial

Good job. Three years old and still relevant. This raises questions:
1) In the Merge3D1 node I can rotate the text on three axes, but once I output to the next node (Renderer3D1), the text is no longer rotated - at all. Why? I get that it is a 2D rendering, but it should be a 2D rendering of the text in the position that I had rotated it to.
2) How does this look in 3D video?

I watched a previous video on doing 3D. I really enjoyed yours a bit more, for a few reasons.
1. You spoke slower. (Very helpful)
2. You explained what you were doing, why you were doing it, and how it works. (I learn by knowing why something does what it does, you hit the nail on the head for me on that ty)
3. You showed a couple ways how to achieve certain movements. Depending on comfort, and knowledge, was awesome to see the ways if can be done

Is Davinci using a Rasterizer or Pathtracing engine? I guess it's a rasterizer, but it would be cool if its pathtracing

how do i take away the black background and jsut leave the 3d letters, evry apply mode i try makes the letters transparent.

Casey, when I do everything that you said up to the clicking on the rendering, and placing it on the second screen, for some reason my background doesn't show up. Everything else happened as you said, but once it was rendered I saw a transparent background instead of my background color. I was wondering if you can give me some insight into that? Thank you.

i did this tutorial twice when i went to the final connection it connected directly to the back ground the merge node did not show up

this is awesome, worked for me right out of the box, very well explained too.
quick question though, if you wanted to anchor your 3d text in a position in the video, is that possible so you walk past the floating 3D text. does that make sense?

i know that im 1 year late to the party here but id love to see more on 3d animations ect. this stuff is amazing.

Not, you're right it's the 90s. It started as boss in the late 80s, transformed to the bomb in the nineties, went through a the shiznit phase in the 2000s, now im too old to know what IT is anymore. But to quote grandpa Simpson, what IT is seems weird and scary to me now.

As soon as I add Renderer3D1, everything goes away. I just have a grey viewer. I can put my Merge3D1 to view in the #1 viewer to see it is still there.
