You Have More Currency Than You Think | Path of Exile Currency Guide

Ghazzy this is such an important video that the average player NEEDS to see. I help a ton of new players every league, usually around 40-50 every league. Just with basic stuff like Goldrim, Wanderlusts, Scrolls, Jeweller's, Chromatics and basic things. A lot of them get to maps, they farm and farm then they tell me that they aren't making any currency. I told them "Aren't you farming Harbingers?" for example and when they say yes I ask how many Ancient Orbs do you have and they tell me 40, like dude you have nearly 4 Exalts worth. You have 25 Deception contracts? That's 10c PER. You have 10 Delirium Orbs? They're super valuable. 95% of the stuff you're finding aren't raw Exalts but they are worth it. I think every newer or casual player needs to see this guide as you couldn't have said it any better. It's so valuable for them to understand this.

Can someone please tell me what the trade plugin/overlay he is using is called? Couldn't find it anywhere in the description or comments.

This video only applies to pc players. I repeat, this video applies to pc players only. If you are on console the market will be shit unless crossplay is enabled.

Great vid as per usual. Most players will know of this tool but Exilence Next. It does a really great job of showing you just how much currency you're sitting on, buried in your tabs. Sometimes I check it and realise I've banked a high value div card and didnt list it. Great tool.

Great video, thanks. Everything he said is true, but there is a huge issue: selling(even in bulk) and pricing all of that is extremely tedious. It also requires to be online to close the deal. There is a solution that fixes this problem partially (still tedious but at least is faster): TFT discord has a tool that allows to price and sella whole tab at once. You can just set up a discount of 80% of poe ninja prices and most of the time it sells instantly.

I have 0 ancients orbs, 0 divine orbs, 0 eldritch orbs, 0 sextants, 0 div cards worth more than 2c, 0 defeaning essences. I dont have more currency than I think.

But on a more serious note. Apart from other currencies, essences, div cards - Should I ever pick up random uniqes or rare items and try to sell them? How many minutes should I use after each map to try to price and put things up for sale? What is the lowest value I should bother putting up for sale?

Yeah especially those contracts 60%+ of players probably won't ever bother to run, sell them on TFT.

Love the video but there is a problem with that aproach. Many people dont have the 15 hours a day to play like streamera for example. I come from work to my kids after a 12 hour shift and i have barely 3 hours tops to try and play, and im not a beast one minute per map player... So yeah... But hey thats a great video!!! Nice one getting bated!

I know 100% that I have a LOT of currency that I will NEVER be able to make use of. Trading in PoE, especially currency to currency trading, is extremely frustrating. Several times this league I had to whisper over 50 people to get one trade done. Sure some of it is easier if you download and install a couple apps and join a discord server but if your system requires a person to download multiple applications to make it usable then it is a failed system.

Would an auction house fix all of those issues? Yes it would. Would it bring in issues of its own? Also yes it would, but at least the price fixers would vanish and I would be able to spend my limited play time actually playing the game rather than copy and pasting tens to hundreds of whisper links from their trade website some days. This leagues trading has been so much more frustrating due to the explosion of price fixers that I've stopped playing at 97 and and thinking of strait up uninstalling.

So I've been playing this game for good amount 5 ish months and I never had a single exalted orb or was I able to get a seriously good item while following guides and doing stuff. I reached maps t1 to t10 and progress stopped. I just never understand how you guys get these stuff.

Man you know I play a good bit, not an absurd amount, and I just don't see how you have 1000 ex?! I've gotten like 50 total so far. I know how to farm maps effectively, a good atlas tree, decent gear, I can do all content. But I can't get the top tier stuff. I don't see how I'd get 1000 ex for the entire league much less in a month.
