Ответить4 years ago, no white hairs on you :)))
ОтветитьThanks 👍✨🤸🏻♂️
ОтветитьGreat video. Very informative. Thank you.
Ответитьnice
ОтветитьThe photos are amazing , the lens is really good ]
Ответить💯 percent better than the nikon 105 1.4 at cheaper price
ОтветитьSigma 105mm 1.4f vs Sony 135mm 1.8f, which one is better for portraits/bokeh?
ОтветитьThe fact that this is a 4yr old video and I'm coming here to figure out what to do today is telling. Been a huge fan since the beginning. Question, if anyone can answer...I'm between the 135 GM, and the 105 Sigma. I had them both in my hands yesterday, was playing around with them. Def noticed the difference in autofocus, bokeh being more circular with the 135, and the extra compression makes it a match for the 105 in my book, but, and here is where I get in trouble, is the 105 better than 135 focal range? Going to mess around with the lens as much as possible. This is replacing my 85 1.8 as I'm trading it in. I have a 200-600 for sports, and an anamorphic for more artsy shoots. Suggestions? Sharpness, quality, longevity, and artsyness (if that's even a word) matter, weight not so much. Kinda love how comically large the front element is too lol!
ОтветитьWow she looks so cool with the leather. Amazing body ..
ОтветитьI personally like the cateye bokeh. It reminds me of anamorphic cinema lenses
ОтветитьGreat review.,amazing photos. Many thanks 🙏🙏😊
ОтветитьThis lens makes every camera look tiny...
ОтветитьI own the Sigma 85 DG DN and I'm looking for an excuse to buy the 105. As you mentioned, it's such a small mm jump to justify this purchase. I also do not like the bokeh look seen in the image you posted. Love watching you shoot man! Peace for Atl!
ОтветитьI'd take my chances with my Canon 1Ds Mark III, 85mm 1.2LII and Elizabeth!
ОтветитьI wish I could own a 200mm f/2 for those unique shots (showboat purposes). This sigma 105mm though., it's going in the bag tonight I got a good feeling about this on the R5!
ОтветитьYes Manny I DO have a question: would you get the Sigma 135mm f1.8 over the 85mm and the 105mm?
ОтветитьThis model in the shoot was hotter than the lens! But I do think that the Sigma 135 f1.8 blows the 105mm out of the water. I used to own the Canon 200mm f2.0 and still feel that the Sigma 135 f1.8 beats the Canon 200 f2.0
Ответитьoh, that should be compared to the 135 gm
ОтветитьCurrently own an A7III and a Sigma 24-70 f/2.8. Not sure what lens I should buy next.
The Sony 70-200 GMII is a beast… but it’s also $2,700… I just don’t have nearly enough clients to justify that. But in the other hand: the Tamron 70-180 is only $1,100 but just okay. I don’t wanna spend $1,100 on a “just okay” lens, ya know?
So do I spring for an $1,800 135mm, a $1,500 105mm, or do a drop $1,200 on Sony’s 85mm?
Now could the 85mm be more useful in tighter spaces? I mean there's 20mm between the 85mm and the 105mm, that's not insignificant.
Ответитьwhat u think i should buy ? Sigma 105 f1.4 or 85mm f1.4 Sigma for fashion+portrait, or should i just buy tamron 70-180 f2.8 ?
I have 24-70 f2.8.
Muito linda, é de se apaixonar por ela...
ОтветитьAlways great videos filled with straight forward information!! You also have great vision and skill shooting and editing your images!
Ответитьokay! so, Manny used to make 60fps videos in 2018!
ОтветитьUpdate of my comment from 3 years ago ! LOL
Today (3 years later), Sigma Art lenses made me stay in the Sony alpha system !
My most used and beloved lenses are all Sigma Art... This 105mm f/1.4, the amazing 35mm f/1.2 DG DN and the 24-70 f/2.8 DG DN which is at least as good as the Sony GM, if not better !
I bought the 105mm after having seen your test 3 years ago and I'll never regret my decision !
So nowadays there's no pathfinder action? Screens forever?
Ответитьyou're the best to do it . much love brother
ОтветитьI have an a7iii and my eye af dot doesn’t always work? Can you or someone please tell me why ??
ОтветитьI have both and prefer the 105 other than the damn weight. My client brags about the best pic we’ve ever taken. With the 105
ОтветитьFantastic model
ОтветитьI’ve found it to be extremely reliable on Nikon. It’s the Sony autofocus system that’s having an issue. I can shoot it in the dark.
ОтветитьRf15-35 2.8 and the adapted sigma 105 1.4 is my go to for my canon r5
ОтветитьI will test on Nikon D5. Thanks!!!
Ответитьwhat program do you use to edit?
ОтветитьI have been confused about what to buy whether it should be 85mm 105mm! but I think i am going to go for 105mm.. I know it would work beautifully for portraits in wedding with Godox Ad600bm. Thanks for the awesome review
ОтветитьTop man. Great reviews. 👍
ОтветитьI like character of the different lenses. People put too much value into the shape of the bokeh IMO
ОтветитьIm confused between 105mm and 135mm please tell me which should i buy ??
ОтветитьI wish it had optical stabilization.... but can't image weighing even more than it does.
ОтветитьI very much agree with the lens glare in the backlit situations. The solution I came up with was to put a sunscreen diffuser around the camera front area to put the lens under the shade. It's extra equipment and extra effort but it seems to be working for me.
Ответитьwow and wow
ОтветитьGreat shots! She’s amazing, that hair wow! And just imagine she’s walking around in her natural habitat looking that good all the time
ОтветитьSomeone said this is the Queen of Bokeh. Now I’m not sure of the gender of this lens. I hope ‘they’ are not offended.
ОтветитьBeautiful :) QUESTION : I see you are shooting outside.. do u have a ND Filter to allow it to go down to 1.4? struggling with this outside thanks :)
ОтветитьSony a7c?
ОтветитьYo.. thanks for that comparison about not buying it if you have an 85. I have an 85, was going to buy the 105, but now I’ll get the 135.
ОтветитьCan you mount this lens on an APS-C Sized Sensor Camera, like the Canon EOS 90D?
Ответить
