World Scout Jamboree: Singapore contingent relocates to Daejeon

I noticed they worry about their image more than worrying about the issues and children. Also I'm 99.9% positive this happened without the weather issues and no matter who was leading the country. We hear Koreans blaming their government for every single event that took place before. Blaming and changing government won't solve their problems untill they accept it's just what Korea is today and change their mentality at individual level

This event greatly embarrassed the Korean nation. South Korea's standards are very low.

Didn't conduct proper risk matrix. If there are double major risk like heatwave and then typhoon, the visit should be cancelled. Wonder who is the brainless scout leader for Singapore.

Sheer chaos! What do you expect from a county whose president sings for his dinner at the White House? "American Pie", anyone? Disgraceful!

For Korean, we are so sorry cause u guys come here to think about joy and happiness, but the truth is extremely hot and low quality of food and place. we are sorry

Let us spread positivity! There might be lapses, inconvenience, and discomfort but I still commend the Korean government and the World Scout Jamboree organizers in general. Things got improved and they did big effort to make it better for everyone. Salute to the scouts who really have the "SCOUT SPIRIT". My son is there. In one of my phone talks with him, "Mom, it is really hot here but it is bearable..It is so fun to be with other foreigners, trading things together is exciting". I am proud of my son. At a young age (12), he learned endurance and how to enjoy with others amidst difficulties. Scouting it is!

guys u should have asked also:
- how much this event cost, any reimbursement?
- are all the kids doing well?

Maybe the scouts should just go bash zombies instead of jamboree

Why dont host during cooler months like oct or nov

Check the paperwork and track how much money actually went into the jamboree project versus how much was given.

Maybe next time should be held in Indonesia. We have been quite successful holding G20 and ASEAN events.

When huge number need to go hospital , it is not the kids too weak.
It is a serious incident .
987 people had to go to the hospital attached to the site for medical treatment, including 83 people with heatstroke and 49 people with sunburn.

World scout should use their resources to go to poor n less previledge country to help n assist them to organise to basic livelihood instead of organising luxurious camp in fact are just enjoying those camping activities nothing will be solve on their day to day issues that happened around them .

What blow after blow? Learn from mistakes and improve on it. No human beings on this earth are perfect. Only blow after blow where people refused to learn and change.

Koreans are really embarrassed. Koreans who treat their guests with sincerity are very embarrassing. We are not prepared at all. Koreans are famous for preparing really thoroughly. For example, K-pop K-drama K-movie from the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.

We all know how soft Singaporean kids are and how much those entitled parents would complain until the cow comes home, pretty surprised they didn’t bring their maids along to take care of these little scouts.
