A great training video. But confused why you over directed the midback sections to the sides followed by then cutting them to match the center guide. You just end up with a lot of bulk and length in the center.

What does “cut it square “mean?

On one side you are cutting the hair vertical and on the other side you are cutting it diagonal. It's confusing!

So much wasted motion! Constant clipping completely unnecessary ...Basic concept fine. Neck line leaves a bit to be desired. Same with the line around the ears. Again, just a lot of wasted emotion…… and “fussing” .... simply for “show”!

When COVID came along, my wife decided that she was going to cut my hair to keep me safe. The only problem is that she had never cut hair before. But she found this video that explained how to do a layered scissor cut, watched it a few times, and the results were magic. My hair has never looked better and I haven't been to Super Cuts since. The price is right, too.
