Better you by twelve. Highly recommend . Especially the first and last chapters. Helped me out tremendously. Hopefully it can help you too
ОтветитьJust going back to college after a week break during that week I did what I want to do in life consistently 4 days after just the remainder of remembering days gone with travelling, some quarrel, tension with exams to come and did fell bad habits in short didn't do the thing for 2 days and now when I am going back to college but after watching this really make me think I was really hard on myself thanks.
Ответитьjust like the same, studying computer science, creating a company, but still nothing. Just love to read, help people and know them, travel and understand the world. Life is really hard sometimes...
ОтветитьI’m at a crossroads between two majors I want to study in college. But they’re both really creative majors and I have a passion for art and anything creative. I’m lost.
Ответить“Maybe my true calling is a bridge”
ОтветитьI have the following issue. I put really a lot of effort into my career. This is something that I liked to do when I was a kid and I was good at it. Currently, I am successful with my career: I am well payed and I would say, I am one of the best at what I do in my country. Here are the issues that I have.
1. One thing is what your job ideally is (how you imagine it) and another is what you are actually supposed to do to be payed. I have a lot of stress to meet some meaningless performance metrics. I also have to do some silly routines as part of my job, which due to some reasons, such as poor management (not on my side, but on the side of people in charge), feel completely pointless and waste of time. Eventually, I end up doing things like that instead of doing what I actually find exciting about my job pretty much all the time.
2. It feels like I am sacrificing pretty much all the time and the energy to my job at the expense of other things in life, such as social interactions.
In summary, it feels like I am sacrificing too much for my job, which does not give me satisfaction I want. This is why I start questioning my purpose. I guess, this is what burn out is. Any advice?
8 year old me was loving them racecars, I was all about it🥹🥹 (Man, that nostalgia hit HARDDD😭)
Ответитьoh god. you're so good🎉
ОтветитьI was feeling very down, this video helped me a lot. I am a writer, a storyteller who likes to help people improve through her stories, but it is easy to forget about it when life tells you to get a job you don’t like for the sake of making money or whatever. Everything will be okay, thanks for the reminder. ❤
ОтветитьI have this feeling and I'm 52 years old not getting far from bed
ОтветитьFor me it's also self improvment, bur more specifcally in the military, not only you get fit and disciplined, you get to live trough a lot of shit with your brothers, the conection between soldiers training and fighting side by side is very unique and almost iomposible to have on a civilian life
ОтветитьThe question isn’t what you are meant to do it’s what you have to do. 💀
ОтветитьIf you are living and you are living good. You must be doing something right. 👍 💯
ОтветитьI wish I had an actual childhood with interests and hobbies, it was over for me from the start lol
Ответитьits takes time sometimes to figure out to be exactly what your purpose is in this lifetime. It's not that I focus on what others are doing but I focus on what i am doing and thinking constantly about ways to improve and becoming the better version of myself.
Ответитьnah. i love self improvement videos, but saying "people will wake up and respect you if you work on your passions in silence" literally just misses the point. then you still want to do it for the validation of others, just through work in silence instead of the "usual grind". feels more like an internet "sigma-mindset" than actual self help
ОтветитьThe words "purpose" and "passion" can be scary and overwhelming. We put a lot of weight into each of these. So much so that we kind of steer clear of figuring out our purpose. Instead of directly focusing on discovering our purpose in life or a career, we should identify meaningful pursuits and activities that are important to us. One day this may look like going for a walk or going to the gym. Another day this might look like talking to a friend or going out to lunch. Another day this may look like cleaning your house or finishing a work project. None of these activities in isolation are your "passion" but at the time they were important and meaningful. When we intentionally engage in meaningful pursuits and activities over the months and years, we will find our purpose. As an added benefit we may also find our passions too! Hope this helps!
ОтветитьAre you just repeating mark mansons articles
ОтветитьDude 😭 “when you said I need to shut up right now” I felt that 😂 I’ve had this happen to me when I video myself talk
ОтветитьNice video
ОтветитьI'm 51 & this is by far, probably one of the most realistic, insightful, practical & applicable videos, I've seen to yet. And I've seen & read a lot of stuff on finding your purpose. Great job! 👍
ОтветитьI was a lost soul, someone without a purpose then I found boxing I worked at a gym I felt better I felt like I belonged. Then my ankle&foot got messed up. So now I’m back to square 1 just drinking and sitting all day
Ответитьsong at the end pls?
ОтветитьI'm 30 and I still don't know.
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьThank you very much for sharing❤
ОтветитьI think I've already found my purpose but I keep taking breaks from it every now and then and keep wondering if it really is the right thing to do. It's my YT channel
ОтветитьI'm 31 turning 32 next year. I'm still purposeless. Never completed college never really finished anything in life.
ОтветитьA few years ago, I came across information about our environment and how it's changing due to human activity. And I become more amazed the more I read. However, I have been looking up careers and cannot find the one that sticks out. Now, I am questioning whether this is the right thing to do. It's an area that challenges me and intrigues me to learn more about. I am now "lost" about if this is the right thing. Or maybe this is not something I see myself doing as a career. I would love to major and learn more about it, but realistically, maybe it's just not something to do as a job. Idk I'm completely lost.
ОтветитьI used to love drawing as a child but I don't really get enjoyment out of it anymore. I used to enjoy videogames for the fun of playing them (not progression) but I don't like games for that anymore and I obviously can't make a living playing them anyway.
ОтветитьI can relate to 99 percent of the things you say tnx Cole
Ответитьthank you :)
ОтветитьGreat video man !!! Really helped me bro .Hope Texas is treating you well.-AB crescendo
Ответить..."You gotta do what I did, and find your purpose first and then make a fake online persona" 🤣god your so cute!!💀🖤🖤
Ответитьit's funny because I'm also 20 and in computer science college and question what I will do for living
ОтветитьMy purpose in life is to start my own nation or culture. It started from when I was a young child I always interested in creating my own nation or country.
ОтветитьTry being 30 and not knowing what your purpose is and even worse wanting to kill yourself bc in 30 years I'll be dead anyway so why waste another 30 years to face the inevitable
ОтветитьYou didn't say much that hasn't been said. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
ОтветитьMy 8 year old self, would just say: “ Wow a depressed piece of shit, great”
Ответитьhonestly i like motorcycles but i can't ride my mom's 90cc one legally until i am 17 cuz 16 year olds are only allowed 50ccs, yeah, we have licenses that restrict cubic centimeters here in argentina, pretty much like in Europe. So fuck me :(
ОтветитьCole I love your videos, your a great guy, you really inspire me, your great at what you do, you have a great voice too, thank you so much
Ответить"The world need negativity to balance out" welp, I guess I just found my life porpuse
ОтветитьGood ol freemont st
ОтветитьTrue purpose is something that you would still be doing even if you didn’t make money off of it? Yeah I’m doing that, and I make no money off of it. Not sure that’s a great life plan.
ОтветитьI think the biggest problem is when what you love doing doesn't bring money. It feels useless and like a waste of time especially when you have responsibilities.
Then you feel useless for not doing anything and feel miserable because you don't enjoy what you're doing.
Life is hard and for some it's harder because you have more responsibilities and not enough money to do anything about it.
All the things i love are basically useless if I'm not a god at which i'm not but i'm so uninterested in marketing and how money works or money in general that most of the time I'm broke.
Then i feel like a disappointment when i see my family which leads me to trying to find a compromise that doesn't exist.
Sometimes life is bs. The worst part is that i should be happy for what i have and sometimes i am.
But i feel undeserving. Like i can't do anything for them except giving them false hope that somehow i'll make it.
Idk where i'm going with this comment. Idk where i'm going with my life. I wish i was born rich so at least i wouldn't have to worry about money because i hate it so much.
I only have one passion which you cant make your purpose except you wanna die alone or stream for 1 viewer because the market is oversaturated
this video is useless I dont have any interests besides gaming no purpose no goal nothing
Was the pop up with your Instagram name meant to be ironic? It came up exactly as you said the word superficial and I couldn’t help but think……
