How to Apply Gradient Background Color to Icons | CSS Multi-Color Gradient Backgrounds for Icons

Thank you! it's my homework to google how to set gradient to awesome icons and your video was the 2nd I found
Upd: it doesn't work. I tried it with <i class="fa-solid fa-bookmark fa-3x"></i>
I tried changing the fa to fa-solid, but it just made the background gradient, not the icon😢

Does anyone know whether this works with other icon packs- e.g. react icons?
