Let's check some facts. Armenia has issues with 3 of its 4 neighbours. They are friendly only with Iran, but also with Russia, which doesn't even share a border with them. They chose to align with the Iran-Russia Axis against Turkey-Azerbaijan-Georgia, which are closer to Western countries. Turkey has a free trade agreement and visum-free travel with Georgia and excellent relations with Azerbaijan, but Armenia just chose to not have a piece from the pie. Some peoples just choose to be miserable.

Azerbijan has a larger economy, larger population ergo better armed military. There was nothing Armenia could do on its own against this. Without outside help they just couldn't outgun or prepare to outgun azerbaijan

I cannot support Armenia on this - after Second Nagorno-Karabakh War, Armenia completely failed on establishing itself as a reliable partner to work out peace plan, and trying to align itself with Russia does NOT bode well with NATO or the US (and the rest of the world community). I live in Glendale CA, and I don't see many Armenians going back to their own country to fight for their own people...and why are you asking us to risk our lives for your country? Nagorno-Karabak is lost to Armenia and they should accept the fact.

As an observer I can understand from this interview that Russia created and protected Armenia. 😊

Geopolitically Armenia is in deep problem. It shares the longest border with Azerbaijan and Türkiye and they have the chance turn this into revenue for their government. They need to accept the reality and recognize Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and make a peace. Otherwise they will keep on complaining about the situation and how not other countries not coming to their help.

Armenia has two choises. Make a route between two Azeri territories with no taxes, or customs and have peace. Second choise is war and give southern Armenia to Azerbaijan. Armenia has left Russia and chosen West. West can not help Armenia.
