Love the video and this guy truly makes amazing Mexican food but the fact you mentioned that he said: "as a true Mexican he said the tortilla must be made with corn" that's either a lie or he is wrong, in the Northern part of Mexico, they broadly use both corn and flour tortillas. Ask anyone from Nuevo Leon.

This is my go to comfort food. Have made it a few times and if you want to save some money without sacrificing flavor, you can use chick steak and some neck bones instead of short ribs... Still amazing. Also, if you have a pressure cooker, you can cut the cook time to one hour.

You can tell how badly he was schooled because he even had to capitalize the entire word in the title so you know it's worse than anyone would ever imagine. 💯
I miss Mexico, siempre. This wasn't how we ever ate them anywhere in Mexico in the last 12 years but still looks tasty.

Amazing how seemingly “peasant food” has become so sought after and regarded.
Sushi, Gnoki, ratatouille, Biria the list goes on. I just love how food brings people together.

You knock this out of the park with the added salsa recipes. Thank you so much for that!! Now I need to write all this down and find some time to get into the kitchen and make it work. Although, I’m not going to lie, I’m probably going to make my own tortillas….

Guga,We Did it! Used this recipe but added the twist of smoking the meat on my Workhorse Pits smoker first, then used the meat with some good smoky flavor and followed your lead..
Those tacos kicked a punch for sure. Thanks for not skipping school that day!

Save money, same recipe, substitute neck bones (espinazo) I paid $1.79 a lb on the weekly special at the halal market. Use a ratio of 2lbs Chuck roast to 1lb espinazo to reduce fat.
