THE ULTIMATE SOJOURN GUIDE for OVERWATCH 2 - Abilities, Combos, Mechanics and Tech

Sojourn absolutely kills at duels when encountering another flanker. My strategy is don't dodge left and right like usual duels, makes projectile shots a little hard to land. Fire disruptor at them which forces them into a certain direction then primary fire and dash toward the direction they run. Then finish them close range with secondary and a punch for a near guaranteed kill. By the time you need to finish them off you only really need less than 40% secondary even for a body shot. A lot of players don't expect how much damage happens so quickly and usually fumble their escape skills. Only down side is you can usually only pull this trick off once before the other player wises up.

Your tip about aiming with movement and letting them do the work is spot on. I main souljourn

What I do is find a big group and the mercy is healing me I but down the big circle thing then I use my ult the the tank is going after me since I killed their team I just slide back to my team and then a free team kill

This is great but I don't think you should teach people not to aim. If soj is the first character they play and they watch this it teaches them to stop aiming so if they then like hanzo or widow they just stop aiming

I always have to remember that when I pop her ult that using the primary fire still charges up the secondary so instead of thinking of the ult as a way to get the rail gun quickly for easy kills use the primary with it to just damage the entire team at once

One main thing I've seen and adapted to while I main Sojourn is, there are so many counter hero's so the best defense against the many counters is to stand behind my tank and just shoot through them so that I can build the charge than step out so when I'm spotted I can take the shot and just rinse and repeat

Any recommended custom modes to help with ult aim?

I actually swapped my primary fire and secondary fire button for her in the settings. I found it easier to line up or flick the charged shots using the left mouse button.

That's not even a real gun that's not how you charge it up why can't sojourn have what Widowmaker has hold charge one shot without machine gun
A real gun it's supposed to be just like in Halo 5 and I have a hard f**** time aiming with that s*** I don't want a machine gun hold aim one shot boom

You forgot to mention that the disruptor orb slows the oponets caught in the orb down making it easier to hit a shot with your secondary fire. also the secondary fire will uncharge after holding it for to long hope these tips helped any new sojourn mains -sojourn main

TRY TO FLIP YOUR PRIMARY AND SECONDARY FIRE THIS IS WORKED FOR ME SPECIALLY IN THE SECONDARY FIRE IT MAKES IT ALOT EASIER

are you absolutley sure her right click is hit scan? I went into training mode and i'm almost postitive it is not hit scan.

Her Hurtbox should be as big as soldiers or her secondary fire should get a dmg reduction. That way she would be balanced imo.

I’ve been kinda running her like the rail gun in quake three. It’s wind up time was very similar to the time it takes to charge a snipe shot. It’s a fresh way to play an old game with a taste of true nastalgae behind it.

I got confused in the video for the enemy to have the original friendly blue and the team mates have the original enemy red
