Damn, I remember reading some article on CODENAME Panzers: Cold War in one of those old gaming magazines. They praised the fuck out of the physics engine and how a crane falling on a building always causes different destruction

Made me feel like we're in the future. Same with Force Unleashed and the hype around its destruction physics. Wish that kinda thing hadn't died down

To those wondering why the Russian officer in the cutscene says "The Germans have taken Kaliningrad", it's because that is a mistake in the English dub.
In the original (Hungarian), the town mentioned is Kalinin, which is not far north of Moscow.

I loved this game so much when I was a kid. Phase 2 was the first thing I ever bought online, I game my aunt a pile of all the coins I had saved up to buy it for me on this weird website that sold books and software called Amazon.
