ОтветитьIn all the news Peugeot 208’s they secretly blacked out the silver on the GT rims to a extremely dark color which looks so sporty

ОтветитьI really like this car I have never owned a Peugeot only Toyota but they are too expensive now for just 4000 mile a year but I really don't think I can cope with that steering wheel in front of the dials it just seems a let down and poor design I tried different seat positions and steering wheel height but you just can't get it right.
ОтветитьElectric cars are not environment friendly FFS!!
ОтветитьOld designers liked radiator grills so much they made them bigger
ОтветитьNo golfclubs, annoying indeed :D

ОтветитьEuropean cars are no good at all for Tropical Climate. Their plastic is full of JOKE... It is laughable when reviewers talk about quality soft feel of plastic and always complain about hard plastic. But the Truth is under the hot Sun, those good quality plastic will cracked compare to the hard plastic that can stand 30 to 40 years. It is common to see Europeans car dashboard will cracked many places in my country.....No such thing can be seen on Japanese cars and they can still soldier On 30 to 40 years later. European car 8 to 10 abandon by the road side and thieves avoid it like plague. After that most will end up in the junkyard. There is no resale value for European cars...
ОтветитьJust drove one of these all over Puglia with four people total. It was the slowest car I've ever driven, and I'm a family-style driver, not a racer. On the other hand, it was nice looking, comfortable for four, and great on gas. Good suspension and a comfortable ride too.
ОтветитьShould I get 208 or Corsa?

ОтветитьHe's definitely changed his mind about the small steering wheel. Or am I confusing him with similar sounding Car Buyer guy.
ОтветитьMy mom has this car in black it’s so fast bro
ОтветитьShit car. It's typically French, all show and no substance. It will break down in 2 minutes.

Ответить...apart from parking sensors don't work as expected when reversing... ie don't work when front of car gets close to an object when turning
ОтветитьLately it seems Peugeot and Kia have been stepping up their game so much that other manifacturers should start worrying.
I see a lot of the 208,308, Ceed and Proceed in my town. More than VW, Renault or Opel(I live in Germany)
Rental a Peugeot 208 recently during a visit to the UK...there is a lot to like in the 208 package, even if the car I had was a lower-level spec with a petrol engine. Styling is great, and it was a comfortable motorway cruiser with one of the slickest shifters I've ever had in car like this. It made driving this car fun and easy. It was composed on A and B roads, the ride quality was quite good I thought, and fuel economy was acceptable, if not decent. I had no passengers, so can't comment on back seat space but it did seem a bit tight back there, and the shape of the door meant getting in and out wouldn't be easy for larger kids or adults. The dashboard was okay, a nice pleasing shape but I got the impression Peugeot went for form over function. No mention of the Quartic steering wheel? I didn't think it was necessary and it actually hindered the view of the gauges, but at least it was solid and chunky. I felt that minor controls and switches took an annoying fraction of a second too long to respond - sounds like a minor criticism but it meant there wasn't a good tactile response and I didn't get used to it despite spending a few days with the car. Also, I didn't like having to go into a menu on the screen to change the temperature or fan setting...surely a couple more dials and switches wouldn't mess up the clean fascia too much, would it?? Overall though, this was a pretty nice car and surely would be worth checking out and comparing to a VW Polo if in the market for this type of vehicle.
ОтветитьJust a PSA for everyone.
Don't get me wrong i love this car and i've had it for about 7 months and it's a dream to drive and there's a lot of fancy tech especially if you get the GT model, But... there are quite a few problems with it.
List of Cons:
1.) If you put a drink of any sort really in the cupholders you see in the centre console they really get in the way of your gear changes if you have a manual which i do (think it was more designed with auto in mind tbh)
2.) The top of the infotainment screen plastic border has popped out ever so slightly exposing the clips that hold it in place, it's still very solid and still in place but the plastic clips that hold it in are ever so slightly exposed which isn't really expectable for the price.
3.) The Virtual Cockpit is amazing but what covers it is an acrylic plastic material which scratches extremely easy when you clean it so take great care when cleaning the cluster. (if you do scratch it and you want to replace the nasty acrylic material they've used you have to replace the entire virtual cockpit unit because it's all one piece which is ridiculous considering the unit costs £750! This is also the same story for the infotainment screen in the centre so take care of these two!)
Apart from those issues this car is fantastic and is great on fuel especially if you drive it in eco!
We got stuffed as we ordered top range e208 as they had removed the heated seats from the spec and that is why we went from GT premium
ОтветитьWill never touch a Peugeot after my experience with this brand. We almost threw it away after 5 years of owning it from new.
ОтветитьAvoid this crap.
