I tried the game recently again. The stutter that appears peridoically put me off continuing. Shame thatbtheu can't get an old game to perform well.

The graphics are downgraded, especially the water and volumetric effects look like a joke to the original released in 2007 and i was 1 of the 1st players in the world when i got my hand on this game
, played it together with the Yerli brothers in switzerland on a quadcore cpu and a nvidia 8800 GTX Ultra. Im still surprised it looked better back in the day 😂

Remember playing this on a gaming laptop I had when I was around 13 (played 2 and 3 when I was much older), loved it but was always messing around with the setting around with the settings to get perfect blend of graphics and FPS. Now I can't wait to beast it on PS5 everything maxed out beautifully and no stress about frame rates!

CryEngine sucks Crytek assumed that future PC games would be focusing on single-thread CPU performance NOPE.

Very badly made remaster they surely didnt care about crysis remaster. This should have 4k 60fps ray traced mode and 120hz mode but it is badly optimized and have pop up. Aiming is little off and weird in all modes.

May be how cryengine doesnt work with new hardware and they didnt upgrade the code.
