NVIDIA... why do you hate gamers so much? RTX 4070Ti Review

i had to buy a 4060 ti 16 gig for 450 quid cheapest card upgrade i could get :/ shouldn't be paying that money for that card but what can you do....

This didn't age well.............I picked up a Zotac 4070ti trinity OC for $749 from Newegg last week.

4070ti does 1200 euros at my country 😂

Nowadays, upgrading a GPU meant upgrading other 'pricey' components as well (e.g. CPU, Power supply). so for the price of the GPU alone, had to think multiple times to do the upgrade

These whole graphic cards price chaos is because of these mfs crypto miners.

the most infuriating thing is that nvidia cards are insanely good also for AI but they infuriatingly kneecapped everything at 12 GB. They could had sold double of 4070 and 4070Ti if they published a 16 GB version. They only put 16GB to the most under powered card ever, the 4060 Ti that in practice can't leverage the bigger ram?

I've got a 3070ti, up from a 1080ti. And I plan on hanging onto this for awhile. I do gameing/streaming in 1080p because 4k is too small for my eyes on normal everyday stuff. We shall see what happens with the 50xx series.

I'm pretty sure that's what every company in the world does make it for 1$ sell it for 500$. Nvidia is no different.

One word... inflation. WITH THAT SAID, perhaps Nvidia is taking advantage of the idea of inflation and increasing their prices much higher than inflation might and using inflation as an excuse? That and the crypto mining boom.

I bought the RTX-4070 Gigabyte OC windforce onsale for $549 at Bestbuy last month.

I saw the 4070ti at $800 sitting on the shelf and said "HELL NO" that price for a 4070 upstep was in my mind a joke with only 192bit ringbus.

I cant wait to see the pricing for the 4080ti or for that matter the 4080 prices. I really want the 4080ti when it's ever gonna be at the $1k price. I'll just put it on my credit card.

Good lord 2017 we were rockin 1440p and now in 2023, still rocking 1440p...nothing has changed. Wtf...so we have to buy a friggin' 4090 for good 4k performance future proofing huh?! WTH!!!

Funny you say that the 4070 ti tuf card would never sell for 850, cuz thats exactly what its at currently. While the 4070 of that card is 650. Cant decide whether to go for it or not, and which one. They also have those super cards coming out next year, which is a gamble. Could lower or spike prices of the current ones imo. Those 30 series cards are crazy expensive still. The 3090 ti are close to 2k now. Building a new pc for the first time, ive had mine for 8 years now. Its a difficult climate to be learning the ins and outs of pc building in, when all you hear is that everything is so much more than it use to be. But also, that its so much cheaper than its recently been. Leads to a lot of opinionated people, telling you not to buy stuff cuz theyre a bit biased in their opinion of value over the long term climate.

This entire process is ridiculously complicated for someone like me... These companies make it confusing on purpose, and the market is watered down like crazy...

I paid 750 for my 3070ti 🤢so if it comes down to 800 I'd 100% get one, if it trades blows with a 3090ti like that

Just bought one in Denmark for $1000 usd, but usually the exchange rate doesn't tell the whole story. So it would be equivalent to $700-800. It arrives today, so far I'm happy with the purchase

my 10 years old gtx 770 broke down recently and i replaced it with new 280€ rtx 4060. you aint getting any more money from me.

We can all be mad about the scaplers... I know I am... in not just the GPUs in everything.. try to get a ticket to an NFL game... 90% of the tickets on ticketmaster to an NFL game is a resale ticket, and at higher cost than the original price. BUT.... we should all be mad at our fellow customers... STOP buying shit from scaplers... Sure the pandemic didn't help anything with productions and distribution being disrupted, but scalpers certainly fuck things up for the average person. 10 months later the 4070ti's can be had for 800 and 850.. so definitely the better deal. Would be dumb to get a 3090... And I have no clue what the 4070ti launched at, or if there were increased prices due to scalping at the time.. But

The 4070ti is an awesome GPU, other than the pathetic memory bus, infact all XX70+ cards are this generation. The only problem. THE PRICE .

The 3090 ti is like, silly expensive now unless refurb and the 4070 ti is 800. I'm pretty content with having spent $400-ish (including starfield, which I was planning on buying) on a RX 6800.

these cards are for marketing. They have to be better than amd so people who cant afford them talk shit about amd online and get the real demographic. People who don’t know any better. To buy them. Or pressure people into buying something they feel obliged to out of fear of being criticised.

1440P RTX 4070Ti is great All around GPU. 4K not so much.. And about 2 months ago pick this exact GPU ASUS Model for $849.00 on Amazon.

my 1080 ti is only 2% less efficient than a 3060 ti. if everyone held out just one generation of their cards dropping they wouldnt throttle their cards so much and be the scalpers. 10 series was so ahead of its time and they couldve done the same with the 30 series but wanted to throttle their performance for yet another generation of gpus the 40 series. sad nvidia is almost a trillion dollar company and still seems so money hungry

Still rocking an EVGA RTX 2070 XC OC'ed to match a 2080 TI on a 9700K @ 5GHz and still plays everything on high with no DLSS @ 1440P. That cost $500 when I bought it brand new on release day. I see no reason to upgrade until FPS drops down below refresh rate. Even then I'd just play those particular games if it happens on a lower refresh rate monitor. The 4K craze is just absurd compared to pricing.

And yess 1 year from release i got 4070 ti for 730€
