GNS3 2.0.0 beta 2 install

My host is a W7 machine and my guest is running on VMware Workstation 14. My guest is hosting the GNS3 VM, also via workstation 14. Where do I install GNS3 all in one, on the host or the guest?

Hi David. I watched your videos on how to run GNS3 on a VM. However, I cannot get it to work. First, the install of GNS3 (I have installed 2.0.0 and 2.0.1 on Win 10) gives some errors (with many files) saying "Error opening file for writing." When I ignore the error and continue the installation I can't get GNS3 and the VM to work because GNS# is unable to connect to the VM. Is that something related to Win 10 ? Thanks
