Magic, excitement, fantasy, thrills, action, fairy tales, and adventure. While all the other fairies, creatures and beings flee, Aurora realized the truth her mother was trying to tell her about the queen's cruel nature and must make things right with Maleficent. She is sorry she doubted her when seeing who the queen really is, a monster. Aurora cares for Maleficent because she is more than her fairy godmother, she is her mother. Maleficent feels love in her heart and changes back to her true self. But when the queen prepares to kill Aurora with a deadly arrow, Maleficent turns her daughter around and lets it take her instead - A brave motherly sacrifice. And as the fairy turns to ashes, Aurora weeps for her, for she thought Maleficent was lost to her. The queen thinks she got rid of her for her own good, but she is wrong. Maleficent brings herself back to life and turns into a black phoenix. She is resurrected! The queen tries to get away, but everyone turns against her. They finally realized she does not care for them, the kingdom or even her own son Phillip, just herself. She is nothing but a tyrant, a murderer, a villain, and a monster! The final battle is over and the wicked queen has been defeated. Thank God Maleficent is all right, back to her fairy form and finally gives Phillip and Aurora her blessing. Now there is peace between the moor and the Ulstead Kingdom. Miracles happen. A happy ending.

You see, other kids would love an happy ending. However, I was not other kids. I was a kid obsessed with warfare and battles, once I remember how badass this movie was but also remembered me raging because the battles were so unrealistics and the battle leaders were stupid. Anyways I realized it is a kids movie after all made by disney but it would be badass if it was a bloody version.

Second best live action Disney movie of the modern age after Lion King IMO.
